The Pan is a game-changer in my kitchen

For a long time, i've been wanting a wide and deep pan to make fish and different kinds of stews. Finally I found one that works for me. The size is ideal and the thing that I like the most is that the handle is super comfortable. It's very important to read the instructions before using the pan because if you take care of it, this can be a pan for life. I was so excited for this, big disappointment

I cook a lot, and I know what I’m doing. I have had every sort of pan, tried so many brands. This looked like a good comparison to try out as an alternative to the very expensive Hexclad. I was very excited about the ratings and especially the size and sturdiness of the pan. The very first time I seared a large batch of short ribs I was so excited about it fitting! But after two sides I noticed that even the slightest bit of brown from the fat edge was sticking and burning to the bottom of the pan! Like I said, I cook a lot, my ribs weren’t burnt. This pan pattern seems to hold, even when oiled, every scrap of food in place and it burns on and cannot be washed off. I still use it because of the size, but it’s got burn spots now so I am very disappointed and now those spots are even less nonstick. I wish I had spent the extra to try the Hexclad now. I can’t return this and can’t afford a replacement for some time.I also bought the roaster pan, and now I’m aware of the flaws, I am very cautious with what I make in it.

Shedding gray substance after washing and seasoning

I needed this pan to work--perfect size, small handles, etc. I carefully washed and seasoned it according to directions. When wiping out the seasoning oil, I noticed a gray substance coming off the pan. This can't be normal, and I fear it may be hazardous--so sad to have to return this pan!
