lighter weight than most Tritan plastics, water tastes ok, no leaking
This hasn't leaked but the spout is oddly shaped so water comes out in an arch (like the old water fountains in school), once you get used to it, it doesn't "leak". It's lightweight, sturdy. I don't use the strainer as it's one more thing to clean.Some BPA free plastics changes the taste of water. This one made of Tritan seems okay. Previously, I tried a Contain** store-brand 1.2L pitcher which was lighter but the BPA-free plastic was the thin/cloudy plastic which made my water taste strange. It's a trade-off between lightweight vs. how much plastic is leaching into your water.

Really great little pitcher!
Bought this to keep iced tea cold in the fridge. Love the nice vertical design, doesn't take up much real estate in the fridge. Love how easy the top is to get on and off (side snapping tabs), and I love the little strainer that fits inside the lid to prevent tea bags and mint/herbs/fruit/veggies from blocking the spout or sliding out into your cup. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that it does tend to drip as you pour. The trick I've found is to snap the spout cap back into place when opened, and pour quickly, ... just tip and go for it... don't be timid! LOL. That way it doesn't seem to drip. All in all, really happy with this.

If you want to spill the contents every time you pour from a pitcher this is the one for you! The spout on this thing is the absolute worst design imaginable. It drips or runs down the front of the pitcher every time your pour out of it. It's not leaking out of the lid seal, it's the lousy spout that's not designed to pour liquid neatly. The manufacturer should include a complimentary Subscribe-N-Save subscription for paper towels along with the purchase. Customers will need them. Love the size, shape, looks, material but the spout is just a hole that can't possibly transfer liquid from the container to anything else without making a mess. Big fat ZERO on that design!!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The jug is by far the most seal and has easy to clean design on Amazon products, I’ve personally use lock n lock for years, there product are great design with the easy remove lids and anti water spill, recommend for making tea or lemonade, I use it for cold brew tea so I can have ice tea in the morning

Don't buy a pitcher that doesn't pour!
Great size. Is just want I wanted. It fits in the fridge door and is nice to look at. Unfortunately, it doesn't pour well at all. It drips down the pitcher and all over the counter. It's not leaking. The lid spout is just a bad design. In order to pour without spilling you have to remove the lid and pour from the corner. Also, either remover the screen or hold it in place. I would not buy again.

OK, I've had these a while......
Original Review Below the new review...I've had these pitchers a while and, while I do like them a lot, I don't know if it's the age of the pitcher or just basically a design flaw or maybe (?) user error.The problem I have with these is that when I go to pour the liquid, it doesn't pour in a full stream. The liquid has a round hole so consequently when I pour, it leaks all over the area that I'm using the pitcher. I poured an 8 ounce glass of tea and had 4 ounces on my counter top. I have 4 of these pitchers and thats the worse one; the others are all leaking to some degree - just not as bad as this one. NOTE: they are NOT cracked and i've been watching these since it's started occurring, so bad on that one that I just use without the lid and try to pour from the corner. I finally got to the point that I bought cheap Rubbermaid containers with spouts to alleviate the leaking/dripping problem and I'll just use these when I need something in the summer for entertaining.===========================================wanted something to put juice in, in the fridge. Found these. They sit perfectly on the door, clear so I can see the contents. So pleased with the 2 i originally bought, they I turned around and ordered 2 more after seeing these. The only bad thing I can say is that I would love to have one that would hole a gallon jug of milk. (arguably, that's being picky lol )
