Care instructions not very informative

I ordered the 55" x 84' tablecloth and washed it before I put in on my table for the first time. I did find a little care label sewn into the corner, but it really wasn't very helpful. It says, "conventional water", What does that even mean and "no bleach" and 'Do not tumble dry" it also says "cold iron", how do you even do that?Well, when in doubt I always use cold water on a gentle cycle. It said not to tumble dry, but I had no place to hang to dry, so I took a chance and put it in the dryer at a very low setting. I had measured my tablecloth before washing, so I could tell if it shrank after washing and drying. It appeared to have only shrunk up in length by 2" and didn't shrink width wise.The tassels and decorative embroidery were not affected at all and still looked the same as before washing.To me the tablecloth seems kind of thin, but that really doesn't matter to me. I really like the decorative embroidery going down the center length of the tablecloth, it classes it up a little. The true test of how well it will hold up, is when my little granddaughter sits at my table. I always use vinyl place mats over my tablecloth when we are eating at the table, but she always seems to get her food past those. Since I know now how to wash and dry the tablecloth that shouldn't be a problem. We shall see.

I ordered this table cloth as an option for my 10 foot table, as I entertain often and have dinner parties where we actually sit at this table.The pros:It fits the 10 foot table wellIt does not hold wrinkles from the dryerIt does not shrinkConsIt feels very much like polyesterThe tassels and weaving look a bit oddIf this is your style, you know it. It does in fact fit a 10 foot table perfectly and so the only question is is this the look you’re seeking.

Table covering

LOHUT's linen like tablecloth is true to the size offered (my order was 55 x 120") and looks like the images on-line. On-line offers little information and no information about product arrived with product.The fabric is slightly rough, translucent (due to the open weave), not wrinkly, and softly glitters in light.There are some loose threads attaching the decorative trim in the corners.The embroidery is machine done, uniform, raised. The brown embroidery matches the fabric which has some brown threads intermittent throughout the weave.The tassels are sewn on the trim.I have not washed the tablecloth and worry tassels might not hold up well to many washes.This is a fine tablecloth.
