I wasnt expecting the bats to be shiny. I was hoping for it to be more like a velvet look and feeling to it. But its a great price for a 3 pack so i really cant complain! Perfect for tables but i used it on my ottoman in my living room. I have received a few compliments from guests and asked where I got it! They liked how wide it is. It really is cool how wide it is lol! Overall very happy with this 3 piece set of table runners! Now I just need to figure out what to do with the other two!

Plastic bats, not lace

First of all, it does look like the picture from far away, but the amount of plastic involved makes it really cheap shiny up close. At first, I honestly thought the netting was also plastic because of the how it feels in your hands (Thin and plasticy) but it is fabric. I thought the bats were woven in, but they are just plastic shaped bats all over a thin tulle and I think it really negatively affected the entire piece overall.It just made the whole thing feel really cheap, and I think the price would've been better suited around 10 or $15. It's very thin, I just doesn't feel very sturdy. It's pretty far away, but the plastic shine really takes away from it.Overall, I give it four stars because it does look like the picture, and it will get the point across, I just wish it was slightly cheaper price wise for what you get. It would have been nicer if it was actually lace bats. Bummer.
