Makes beautiful edible butterflies

I used a premade sheet of edible fabric, placed it over the mat, moistened it and pressed it into all the cavities. When it dried, I slowly peeled it off the mat and had beautiful lace butterflies to adorn a spring dessert. Because the mat can be used with both cold and hot mixtures, it has a number of edible uses. However, you need to keep in mind that the butterfly design probably will not work with something like chocolate because the cavities are very shallow and chocolate most likely would break when unmolding. There are recipes for flexible chocolate that should work. Of course, the mat can be used with craft projects too, such as resin or clay. The mat is easy to clean with soap and water, or as suggested by the seller, in a dishwasher. It is competitively priced.

Not good for chocolate
Was going to use this for Chocolate as the ad states candy/chocolate. The impression is not deep enough to use chocolate. It breaks into pieces taking it out of the mold because it's way too thin for this use. MAYBE fondant or lace would work but again, it's so shallow that whatever you try to take out would break easily.
