I bought this because every time I slice spam I always end up with the last piece that looks like a triangle really thick on one end and thin on the other. This year is awesome and I also use it to slice other things. I’ve used it for vegetables pretty much anything will fit in. It will slice and his dishwasher safe.
It worked cutting luncheon meat BUT be careful using it as the blades are somewhat sharp, if they put rubber handles on it it would be perfect, otherwise it does the job
Absolutely gets the job done. Have used this 6 or 7 times now, and it's a perfect 10 slices all but one time. The one failed attempt I had, I tried cutting the SPAM on a plate, which prevented the sliver from going all the way to the bottom of the meat block, leading to awkward bottom cuts. Learned my lesson. Cut on a flat surface & it's perfect!

Might as well call it a spam cutter and leave luncheon meat out of the title because this didn't work for me. I used it on canned Corned Beef and it failed on multiple tries. Barely cut through the meat, got stuck, wouldn't go all the way down and just did an all around terrible job. I ended up scrapping out the contents with a fork when I was looking for nice even slices. Maybe it'd work better on Spam but I have doubts. if it didn't work on this would it work on something else? Especially since they're not of an especially different texture. Size is fine and since its stainless steel its pretty easy to clean IF you have a dish washer. I wouldn't recommend attempting to wash this by hand unless you basically just soak it extensively in soapy water and hope the food particles come off on their own.Durability is good. There's no bending or etc, its very sturdy and well made but that's about the best thing I can say about it. Ultimately I might try again when I do get a can of spam but honestly outside of that I wasn't impressed.
Thought I could use it to slice strawberries. Meh. Since I eat Spam about every 10 or 15 years, I likely won’t use this much.
Great for cutting even slices of spam and other soft meats.
