My preferences:I do not like silverware that is oversized. I like black matte. I like the brushed look. I do NOT like to be able to taste my utensils. I like silverware to be heavy enough to feel in my hand. I do not like them to be flimsy and easy to bend. Designs need to be nice, but don't need to be perfect- but it is a benefit the closer they are to perfect. I need the angle of the eating portion silverware to be correct, and the handle not to hurt my fingers. I want them to be easy to clean and keep new looking.I got both the soup, as well as the sundae spoons. This review covers both of them.This spoon set:-This is a set of 4 spoons that come packed individually in heavy plastic bags, all within a box.-They are nice and heavy, but not overly so. The balance is good.-The angle for the bowl of the spoons is appropriate.-They are actually a quite beautiful brushed matte black. I attempted to show it in the pictures. I do not know if I succeeded.-The matte of these spoons doesn't seem to be the type that will be able to be wiped off easily (certain finishes are), or damaged easily. They seem as though they will hold up and be easily cared for.-They are sized well. ~The soup spoons are large enough to hold some liquid, not so large that they can't go in the mouth. Although... since they are soup spoons, it would have been ok to be slightly larger. ~The sundae spoons are appropriately small, and long. ~In the pictures, I compare them to one of my regular teaspoons, which is a shiny black.-The spoons do not have the taste of metal about them as some do.-As far as the decorations go, they are decent and well stamped, but not perfect. If the stamped designs had been more consistent and higher quality, they would have been 5 star from me. As the designs go, the inconsistencies are not terribly noticeable, but are also obviously stamped.Overall:Really nice spoon sets that I would not hesitate to recommend.

Daily use, no sign of wear, my favorites, ever, by far, love-love these.
I really should have snatched up the whole set with all the pieces the second I saw them available on Vine, and I would have if I'd known then what I know now.These are my absolute favorite of any tablespoons I've ever used. I like them better than my silver, better than the expensive department store ones we used to have, and I truly regret not getting the other pieces.I use these every day. I thought they would show scratches or the color would somehow get messed up, but they just keep looking brand new.They're a joy to eat with. Seriously. A joy.I didn't know eating ice cream could get even better.They're beautiful, the weight and length and balance are perfect, and I get a giddy feeling every time I open the drawer and pull one out, imagining how great it would be to have only this whole set in that drawer.I guess I'm just going to have to buy the rest of the set.

Never did I expect they would make me want to buy a whole new silverware set - but they are so good I just have to! They are the perfect size, and a really nice weight.
