Finally got to use this stockpot. What a well made, beautiful piece of cookware. So solid—and the even heating meant a long cook without scorching on hotspots. I expect it will be a regular workhorse for lots of dishes. At this price and value, we will move future purchases to this brand of clad stainless steel.
LOVE. If you are on the fence on taking the leap into purchasing Made In, TAKE THE LEAP! I SO regret not having gotten Made In a few years back. Yes, they have a big price tag, but first of all, these will truly be the last pans you ever buy bc the quality is truly unmatched. These are made to last a lifetime, and the first time you hold one in your hands, you will see and feel the quality. Cleanup is a breeze. And if you follow the directions about cooking with stainless, these are truly nonstick and awesome. And if you can't afford a set, do what I did, which is to purchase a few interchangeable pieces that will get you through most any recipe. This 6 qt. Pot is the perfect size for my one person household and will cook a pound of pasta comfortably and beautifully.

I bought this Made In 8 Quart Stainless Steel pot for my daughter as a Christmas gift and she loved it. I knew that she would because I love mine. It’s a great sturdy and well built pot that should last forever.
Very well made and the lid sits nicely on the pot allowing a slight sunken depth.
Nice stuff, but the lid closure could be engineered to reduce liquids from wicking over the edge when near boiling temps. Think Saladmaster Cookware for an improved lid design.
Great Pot. Made In makes great products. I’m in the process of replacing all my old “hyped up” non-stick Pots and Skillets that scratches and never stood the test of time and forbid you used the wrong mixing spoon on the wrong Pot is like boom, money in the trash. All my Made In cookware looks good as new, just don’t let it burn or you’re going to need some stainless steel cleaner and elbow grease to get it back to its original shiny sleek self. Stovetop Cooking heat control is critical with stainless steel. If you need a pot to be screaming hot on stove top, get you a Cast Iron (never leave soaking in water).
