Great product, thoughtful design, great customer service
I don't write a lot of reviews, but I felt like this product deserved one. This is an excellent cold brew maker. It is very easy to use and has a great 1,200 mL capacity. The plastic construction is more versatile (less fragile) than other brewers made from glass. The filtration system eliminates the sludge that other brew systems leave. The packaging is very thoughtful - a scoop and sponge are included. The scoop is easily overlooked, but it is the perfect size to clean the used grounds out of the filter. The sponge is an unexpectedly useful form factor to help with cleaning. Hopefully the sponges can be ordered separately, since sponges don't last forever.Some minor downsides:Cleaning is moderately easy, but the only component that is recommended for the dishwasher is the pitcher (which is also easiest to clean by hand). All of the other elements are recommended for hand washing, which doesn't take long.The way the filter is configured, the pitcher will work most effectively if stored (at least for part of the brew cycle) on its side. However, there is a vent in the lid that is prone to leaking when the pitcher is stored on its side. Brewing upright can lead to the top grounds not getting exposed to water.Unfortunately, one of the pieces broke during routine use after a couple of months: the pitcher lid is attached with a couple of hinges that snap the lid into place on the pitcher. One of the hinge attachments broke. I contacted customer service and a replacement pitcher arrived four days later. I'd recommend being careful with these hinge attachments as they seem prone to break. At the same time, the customer service is very responsive and suggests that they take support of their products seriously.

Best way to make cold brew I've found
I've tried making cold brew a couple different ways, most recently with Ball jars and a metal filter. This Maestri brewer does a better job than other methods I've tried. No coffee ground sludge in the bottom, easy to clean grounds out of the filter, and easy to pour liquid out of the pitcher without removing the filter / grounds. The brew is pretty strong and tastes great. I have found that sometimes air gets trapped in the pitcher when I'm filling it, and that can effect the brewing slightly. When this happens, the coffee grounds don't seem to get fully saturated right away, so the brewing time takes longer. 24 hours of brew time seems to be the sweet spot for my taste preference, which is strong.

Reliable and Easy to Use Cold Brew Coffee Maker
This cold brew maker is easy to use and does the job well. I get smooth coffee every time without bitterness. The size is good and fits in my fridge without taking much space. The filter works well and keeps most of the grounds out of the coffee.Cleaning is simple and does not take much time. The build feels solid for daily use. I like that I can control how strong the coffee is by changing the water and coffee ratio.One thing to know is that you need coarse ground coffee for best results. (I use Bizzy coffee) Letting it steep longer makes the flavor better. It is not insulated, so you should keep it in the fridge while brewing.

Plastic Clasps Weak And Not Made For Durability
Went from a 5 Star to a 1 star in just 4 uses. Does perfect making great cold brew; however, plastic clips are weak and snapped on the 5th use. Unfortunately, can’t use now because the top will not secure. Very disappointed.UPDATE: Was sent a replacement free of charge, outstanding customer service. Curious to see if the problem re-occurs.

Great cold brew maker!
So far this has been a big improvement from a different brand cold brew maker I had. It is simple and easy to used doesn’t leak. The coffee comes out tasting great! It has a smart design that works well. It’s a great deal for how well it works. It is big enough to last all week but not take up to much space in the fridge.

Worth the price
I bought this to make cold brew genmaicha style green tea and it works superbly. No leaks, easy to use and easy to clean. The draw here was the slim profile as I have 2 room mates and wanted something that was conscious of refrigerator space. A little pricey but worth it to habe something that just works. May even buy a second one for coffee at some point.
