Very strong magnet and not an easy assembly

Very strong magnet which could be a blessing or a curse...The top half of this knife holder is highly magnetic which is great of course. However... I pulled one knife in rush when cooking and accidentally scratched the surface... I'm sure it'll buff out but I was definitely a little disappointed at how quickly this piece gained a scratch - and only on its second day of usage!That being said, it look fabulous and definitely looks a lot more ergonomic than your regular knife holder. That thing is bulky.As someone else mentioned, the screws provided with this item were way too long... Check out my photo. They provided a some kind of tiny screwdriver to put these screws in place but let me tell you - you'd never accomplish that with it. I had to wait for my better half to get home and pull out an electric drill. If it weren't for that, I'd never been able to screw these in place.Came with a nice adhesive pad for the bottom to avoid scratching the countertop.All in all, $90 is pricey but I do like the design a lot. It's neat.

Screws are terrible, use stainless.

The screws they provide you are junk. I had two if the heads snap off with very little pressure. I used my own stainless for the third and had to run a. Bead of epoxy to secure the board to the base since the screws were stuck in the holes. That was easier than redrilling the steel base plate. I shouldn't have to do that much work. Provide better quality hardware. I'm sceptical of the longevity of the product if they can not include quality screws.

Very Beautiful and Functional , Premium Knife Block but Definitely Overpriced at $90

This knife block really gives the impression of a premium product the moment you open the box. It’s well packaged, wrapped neatly, and feels like the brand actually cared about presentation. The design is eye catching, and the resin art looks great in person, though that’s subjective. The acacia wood feels thick and solid, and the magnetic pull is strong enough to hold large knives without any tilt or movement. I only keep two big knives and a few small ones on it, and it handles them easily. You can use both sides, which is a big plus, and the metal base adds stability. Assembly is simple and quick. The magnets are strong, the surface looks classy, and it really does make a nice countertop piece. The only real downside is the price. It feels like a $60 item, not $90, especially given its size. Still, it’s solid, elegant, and functional , just not the best value unless design is your main priority.
