Very Strong!
This is such a cool kitchen gadget! I spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking and baking and have always just set my pot lids on the counter and felt cramped. So I ordered this to give me more counter space as I have a small-ish kitchen. The magnet is much stronger than I anticipated, in a good way. I even hung 2 pot lids up on it and it still held. I mean, I think it’s mostly meant for just one lid at a time, but I do what I want. Haha! It’s probably important to note that it works with both knob and handle lids, which was a big sell point for me because I have both. This is a great product to get lids up and out of the way while still having them handy when I need them!

Super handy invention that I didn't know I needed!
This is the handiest little thing! I always hate resting my pot lids on the stove or the counter and now I don't have to. It's also barely visible and unobtrusive when not in use. I'm torn, though.Yes, it's great. The price...not so much.I'm sure manufacturing cost are substantial on a small scale, but this is little more than a bent chrome wire hanger welded to a magnet. A price point under $10 would be more in line for this, and that's why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. The magnet is strong and will support a good amount of weight. I didn't test it beyond the lids for my All-Clad pans because I don't completely trust it. I have a glass stovetop and can't risk something falling on the stovetop and breaking it. When downward pressure is exerted on the hook, the magnet is very strong. When lateral (side-to-side) pressure is applied to the hook, the magnet is fairly easy to break loose, remove, and reposition. This is perfect and completely by design, I'm sure. The wire hook is also bent slightly upwards to keep the lids from sliding off. IF a lid were too heavy for the magnet, I imagine it would flex the wire hook so much that the lid wouldn't stay on the hook. In this way, the manufacturer has created a sort of built-in failsafe.Overall, I love the product! It's a great idea! My only reservation is the price. This feels more like a cash-register-line impulse buy and should be priced as such.

Space saver
I have this item hang over to my kitchen vent for 1 year and a half. I think it’s enough time to proof how good is this holder. It’s very strong hold well my wok lid. My kitchen is small, my wok lip would take half of my kitchen counter. Since I started using this it has helped me over come extra space that i needed.

Wow does this thing grip our range hood!
We have a pretty generous amount of counter space but when we cook much of it is occupied by ingredients, utensils, appliances, etc. So when I cook I end up setting lids on open areas of the cooking surface, or on top of other things, or I sometimes hold them, but that means I can't use both hands to deal with whatever I am cooking. I had no idea that someone had addressed this issue!I just received this lid holder, and when I attached it to the underside of our range hood boy did it stick! I had to exert a good amount of force to move it. I have no doubt that it will stay in place holding any of our lids, from the smallest to the largest. And it was made to accommodate multiple lid handle types. As you can see from the video I used two different types and both were held just fine. Now I realize that I still have to use some caution while using this. Lids will still be hot, so avoiding the edges of the lid when placing and retrieving makes sense (I often wear a heat resistant glove anyway as even lid handles can become hot after a while.) And moisture and other things may still drip from the lid while it is hanging. But these are things I already manage when I cook, so this product is not creating new issues by any means. We'll be cooking here this evening and this little gem will be hanging on our range hood waiting for the opportunity to hold our lids. And it'll be given many opportunities to do so. I am confident it will handle the job well.

Unique Problem Solver
This magnetic lid holder is fantastic. I didn't know such a thing existed. Great idea. It works very well to keep drips, spills, and counter clutter while cooking to a minimum. It keeps the lid close and right where you need it. The magnet is strong and it can easily hold 2 lighter lids or 1 heavier lid. It won't hold our cast iron lid but I didn't expect it too. I like how it can be removed or simply moved to the back to store away. Great invention! 5 stars!

Works better than expected
Upon receiving this lid holder, I was a bit skeptical about it's ability to support heavy cast iron lids as the support wire has some flex and spring to it. To my surprise, it seems to do a great job, though the "bounce" of my larger, heavier lids is still a concern. This little holder was able to handle the three day gauntlet of Thanksgiving cooking and I have to say I found it quite handy. If you have a metal vent hood, it installs easy with a powerful magnet, but can still be moved around as needed. The wire that hangs down strike me as a bit flimsy as there is noticeable flex in it with heavier lids, but over the three days of extensive use, it didn't bump or drop a lid. It was also really convenient to be able to put the lid right above the pot on the burner - saving precious counter space over my other lid stands.I think the sweet spot for this holder is with saucepan lids as it seems strong and sturdy there. It did hold my largest, heaviest fry pan lids, but I only put those up as a test. I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable relying on this holder for those. In any case, I'm finding this holder to be quite useful and plan to pick-up a few more.
