Great cover for my Ember mug. Fits tight and doesn’t leak. Some complain it’s too hard to get off but I like that, it’s secure and ensures no mess in my truck. First one can in and was broken, I was able to exchange without issues.
Works great on my ember 2nd gen mug making it actually usable at the office where I get interrupted frequently to leave my cup and put out fires.
I have the ember stainless steel mug and it fits great and keeps beverage hot much longer. Easy to clean
The lid fits so tight you can hardly get it off when you need to. Because of this, mine cracked within just a few weeks.
I'm not sure why the closure is called magnetic. Nothing special at all. The lid is nice enough, but grossly overpriced.
STRONG SUGGESTION for those of you with a very tight fitting lid. Mine was so tight I could barely remove the lid.What I did was rub a thin film of vegetable oil on the lid gasket with my finger. It now removes very easily and still maintains a leak-proof mug. I dont wash the lid often - typically just the mug inside now and then. I've been using it for 2 weeks since applying the thin film of vegetable oil and it's still easy to remove. If it ever gets difficult again I'll just wash and apply a new thin film.Hope this helps anyone dealing with this frustration.
This lids fits my mug well. It greatly increases the length of time between charging.
