My daughter has been teaching us some very useful lessons lately. She’s read a book entitled, “Mama Bear Apologetics” that is an excellent guide on how to raise your kids to live out in the world. She’s been telling us about it, and it’s lessons are not just about raising kids but also about raising yourself. So when I saw this Mama Bear Kitchen Towel, I thought that it would be a reminder that my wife (and I) would appreciate.The towel is 100% cotton and it quite absorbent. Some dishtowels you get just seem to smear the water around without mopping it up. You won’t have that problem with this towel. It’s not a thick towel – it’s probably as thick as a good quality cloth napkin. To clean just throw it into the washer and drier. I like the tag on this towel from “MainEvent.” It reads, “Here’s to Happy Messes and a Clean Start!”

Nice cotton tea towel
* my water bottle is shown for size comparisonThis is a nice, but smaller tea towel. Love that it is all-cotton and it feels great and dries dishes fast.I gave it 4 stars because it had a good amount of shrinkage and after the first wash I noticed that some of the black printed areas had already come off. Looks like the image was printed on and not dyed on.Before washing it was 18 1/2" x 24 1/2" and then after normal cold machine wash and low heat in dryer, I measured it to find it had lost 3" in length - which is a lot of shrinkage. Only lost 1" in width, though. The towel is now 3" shorter, sadly, but it is still pretty.Also, after the first wash, my second photo shows that there were several places where the black imprint had come off and I'm wondering if more will come of in future washes?Mind you, they were very small spots where the black came off, but even so, it shouldn't peel off at all I would think.That said, it's a nice towel and I enjoy using it and I'm happy that I ordered it. Just wish the length was not 3" shorter after the wash, as I hang it on my dishwasher handle and now it is a tad shorter than I like.

This is pretty cute. The material is thinner, not quite as thin as flowersack towel material but close. I actually prefer that to terry cloth though. It makes for a cute gift for my mom who loves being called mama bear

Cute
The towel looks very cute hanging in my kitchen, but it's mostly for looks. The towel itself is not that thick or absorbant. However, the Mama Bear picture on it is nice, and I love it. I got it for decoration, so I gave it 4 stars. If the towel were top notch AND it looked great, I would have given it 5 stars. So, I would recommend it for decoration purposes only. If you're looking for a workhorse towel, this one isn't it. Let's be honest, though: we all have those towels that we want people to look at and not use. This one is mine. Now, I just have to keep my husband from drying his hands on it....or worse, using it to clean up messes. No touchy.
