This package of bag rolls will last us a long time. Although, we have a new sealer that sits on the counter and we seem to be using it for more things than I would have thought. Other than meats and cheeses, we now package and seal my cookies or bar cookies and breads we get when they are on sale. They freeze perfectly and can be easily marked along the edge with marker. Just leave enough room after sealing.
These bags are OK but they are kind of thin. They are much thinner than the ones I usually get. These are easy to use just like any other roll of vac seal bags. These are a little bit cheaper than my usual but not by much. They did hold up to a sous vide cook today for 3 hours at 152 degrees F. I did do a double seal on each end. I put the meat inside of one of my regular bags and then vac sealed that in one of these bags just in case. It held up just fine. Due to the thinness of these I question if these would hold up to a longer or hotter cook. Other than these being a bit thin, they have been working so far for me. I don't think that I would get these again just because my usual brand works just fine. I think that I will give 4 stars for these because of the thinness.
Some had leakage issues
I use a lot of vacuum seal bags for repackaging meat as well as for preserving wild game. These work really well with my vacuum sealers. The material of these are a little thinner than what I typically buy, however the quality is good and they seem to hold up really well. I'd probably use these for shorter term storage like chicken and beef which I go through quickly and save the thicker bags for items I will store for a year+ potentially. I don't have a machine that requires the bags on a roll, but I like to cut my bags to size, so the rolls are great for that. These will last a long time for me, which is nice.
