I bought this for my husband for father's day this year. He loves it. It is a very nice little whiskey marble cup. I'm pretty happy about this purchase.I always hand wash our expensive glassware. So I will make sure to handwash this one as well.
Nice presentation box for a gift. Marble (real) glass was a tad smaller than I expected, but my hubby was thrilled with it. He will be using it this weekend for our poker game.

Beautiful marble whiskey glass (or tea or anything you might like in a small amount). It is heavy and well crafted, and arrives in a beautiful presentation box for gift giving. The silver ball as ice-cube-replacement is a nice addition, and keeps one from worrying about unclear ice cubes, allows you to have it ready to go and clean in the freezer. The silver ball comes in a plastic container set inside the glass.To me the plastic container is flimsy and does not match the quality of the marble. It is thin enough that it surely is shedding nanoparticles of plastic onto the ball and thus into the whiskey. I would ditch that flimsy plastic container and set the ball into your freezer in something better, like a stonewear espresso cup or something, or even a silk pouch (not polyester). The plastic container also detracts from the high end appearance of the marble. I think the seller misses the mark including a cheap pease of plastic. And then to compound that impression, the ball itself is wrapped in cheap cellophane. I would ditch that too, if gift giving, and simply get a linen or silk pouch and set it into the cup with a bit of tissue for gift giving.The tons are just ok, you will likely lose track of them in the kitchen or bar.The gift box is very nice, and could probably be repurposed to hold other things, especially if you wanted to remove the polyester-covered-foam insert and replace it with velvet or linen or canvas lining.One star off for all the plastic misses but not taking it off the official rating because the cup is so nice.
