Beautiful to Look at AND it REALLY DOES IT'S JOB OF GRINDING, TOO!!!
This mortar and pestle was really good at grinding without having to go over and over ad infinitum. It's very heavy so you don't have to strain your arm/wrist to get the grind size you want. Not to mention the stone is absolutely gorgeous!! I bought the matching salt cellar for on top of my stove, it was so pretty.This would be more than two thumbs up^^ if I had more!! definitely a GREAT review from me, too!!

Gorgeous! Solid! Amazing quality
Extremely impressed with this. It is made of a beautiful, heavy stone with gorgeous swirling orange/brown, cream, and green. It is cut to perfection and the mortar fits snuggly into it. What you get is likely to look different from the picture -- mine does by quite a bit (but I like it -- MUCH more dynamic!) and might not have as much green as you're expecting. For me, this is perfect. I would absolutely buy this as a gift for a friend and enjoy having mine featured prominently on my counter when not in use.

The video makes it look like you can powder herbs and pills with minimal effort but this is far from true. It takes time and force to even start crushing anything. My hand is sore and tender from the flat top handle. It would be much more comfortable with a round top pestle. It is very pretty and looks nice but I would rather have something easy to use. The video in the listing is almost false advertising.

Wish I had a pic for you guys, but it was a present for my dad. It's Jumbo, like MASSIVE lmao. Like hold with two hands heavy and great quality. Comes with a certificate of authenticity and is packaged well. Great gift, especially for the price. I broke his original one that was smaller than this but similar colors and his was $100 at an art show. This one is well worth the price, he thinks I spent a ton on it to get such a big, extravagant one haha. 🤫

Loved this! In the product pic, the marble texture was not there but I was so thrilled to see it in the actual one. So pretty and shiny. It looks like a great idea, yet to use it. But I’m positive it would work.I was expecting a silicon base for support, a bit scratched up in the bottom but no complaints. Love it!Edit: okay! I think I spoke too fast! I had initially given it a 5 stars but when I started using it, it just didn’t work!! I guess the pestle has to be a bit smaller than this for it to actually work! I bought this mainly to crush ginger and garlic and no it doesn’t work! Way past the return date so I had to keep it. I use the pestle separately on my chopping board to crush it. Disappointing!!

This is a beautiful set. Heavy & very well packaged. Grinding salt the center bottom ground but at the sloping sides (of the bottom) of the "mushroom" did not grind. I'll use the mushroom as a lid/cap.
