Gift was a hit!
The special part about this set are spices (a nice variety of 11aromatics), which come in cork stoppered glass vials, all nestled securely in thegift box. Aromatics/spices are as follows: Hibiscus petals, cloves, lemon grass, dehydrated lemon peel, juniper berries, mint leaves, cardamom pods, star anise, orange peel, dried ginger root, cinnamon stick. Also included is a dehydrated limeslice in a sealed plastic bag The set comes with a little recipe fold-out.The two copper cups (even though you can find this style online everywhere) arenot cheap looking like some mass produced products that sport a seam from themold: Highly polished, hammered copper outer surface, interior tin lined cups(showing the reverse dimples from hammering) with decorative brass coloredhandles (liquid capacity, if filled to the brim is 16 fl oz).Cocktail shaker, hard, plastic-capped muddler and a very basic jigger withoutinner metric lines are typical (missing cocktail mixing spoon) and not overlyexciting. However, if you put it all together, you get a nice gift set, that will impress(mainly due to the spices and cups). If you do not want to store this set in its original box (which has a large storagefootprint of 11 1/2” long by 10 3/4” wide by 3 3/4” high), you will have to come upwith a secure way to store the spice vials. They have a flat bottom and will standon their own, but are small in diameter and do have the tendency of tipping over.As they are made of glass, that may become a problem. You could place the vialsin a box without extra room to hold them in place, or - as an alternative solution -cut out the fitted foam from the gift box, where the vials were held originally, anduse that part to hold your vials.I followed the classic Moscow mule recipe as it was given on the fold-out, butmuddled a slice of lime into the infusion. It made a very good cocktail.
This was a coworker gift and we all loved it
