This is what a salad spinner is supposed to be!
Years ago I had a salad spinner that took up a lot of space and was not very effective so I ended up getting rid of it at a yard sale. Recently I have been making coleslaw and actually getting washed cabbage dried off is a pain so I thought I would give this a try.Yay! It really works! I can salt the cabbage as I cut it, let it sit, rinse it off, spin it and voila! Ready to go! This is a real step up, high quality, convenient gadget. And because I can use it as an attractive salad bowl I can donate a couple bowls I don’t need! Win win! Also it is very easy to clean! The only “odd” thing is a little circle thing in the bottom of the top comes out at times when washing and washing loose in the bowl when I opened it. But popping it back in is no problem.

Wash more than just salad!
This thing is great. I use it for straining pasta, beans, greens, but it’s also great for drying veggies for stir frying. Easy to clean and store

Definitely not your average salad spinner
This is the Audi of salad spinners! Before ordering Martha Stewart Gulfwind salad spinner, I had given up using my old one because it didn’t close well, it was wobbly and pretty much useless. This salad spinner is definitely heavy duty, it does not slide on the counter, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do: eliminate excessive water from washed greens. The clear bowl is attractive enough to use as a salad bowl, but I prefer not to since it’s plastic and the oil in the dressing might not wash off easily. It is quite bulky, but all salad spinners are. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the looks, performance, and quality of this product

Great size salad spinner
This salad spinner is great and exactly what I was looking for. The 6.3 qt size is perfect for washing a full head of lettuce or a large batch of fruits and vegetables. It works great as a salad spinner and a washing bowl with the built-in strainer, making it easy to rinse and drain everything thoroughly. The design is sturdy, easy to use, and cleans up nicely afterward, feels like a good quality. I also love that it’s versatile — I use it for lettuce, fruits, and even general veggie prep. Overall, it’s very practical, well-made, and a great addition to the kitchen. I recommend.

Finally, a spinner that doesn’t annoy me!
I’ve been loyal to the same clunky, oversized salad spinner for over a decade, so I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by a new one… but wow, this Martha Stewart Gulfwind model is a total upgrade.First off, the size is perfect. At 6.3 quarts it’s noticeably more compact than my old beast, yet it still holds a full family-sized head of lettuce (or two smaller ones) with room to spare. What really sold me is the lock-down button on top – push it once to spin, push again and it clicks flat for storage. No more fighting a tall, wobbly lid in the cabinet. It actually fits on my shelf without rearranging everything. The spinning action is smooth and stable. My old spinner used to dance across the counter like it was auditioning for a breakdancing crew. This one is nicely weighted at the base, so it stays put even when I’m cranking away at full speed. Greens come out perfectly dry in about 10-15 seconds – no soggy salads here.I also love using it as a washing bowl. The colander nests securely, the pour spout on the outer bowl makes draining rinse water a breeze, and the whole thing feels sturdy without being overly heavy. Cleanup is simple too; everything comes apart easily and is dishwasher-safe (though I usually just give it a quick hand wash). If you’re tired of cheap spinners that tip over, take up half your cabinet, or leave your lettuce damp, do yourself a favor and grab this one. It’s the first kitchen gadget in years that’s made me genuinely happy every time I use it.5 stars – Martha nailed it. Highly recommend!

Multifunctional salad spinner
Quite frankly, I don’t care whose name or face they throw on a product because that means nothing to me. But that’s another rant. This particular salad spinner is pretty nice though, strange things you appreciate when you get older. Size wise, it’s roomy enough for a decent amount, but not overwhelmingly so much that it doesn’t fit neatly for storage. The spinning mechanism works great, and the rubberized ring on the bottom means it grips to the counter preventing it sliding anywhere. This makes it super easy to use. Included lid means it doubled as a storage container.Overall, it’s well made, durable, and easy to use spinner that dries lettuce quickly.
