Needed these for a matcha party

Had to get these for a matcha making party. They worked great! The quality was high and the whisks were well made. They were easy to use like any other matcha whisk. It made good tasting matcha and broke up the powder pretty well. The number of prongs was good and they didn't deform after using. It was easy to clean them. Just had to run some water through them. They dried out pretty quickly as well. They are lightweight because they are made of bamboo. Overall, really nice whisks. I would recommend them.

functional

these work really well and go really well with a matcha bowl that i got previously. They are pretty durable and easy to clean up. definitely worth the money. They are also packaged neatly and the plastic container it comes in can be kept as a storage container for it later when not in use. I have only used them once so far as I have to be in the mood for matcha and it is not an everyday drink for me but I am please with them and their quality.

Real bamboo whisks

I’m not a professional at matcha whisking - just an amateur who enjoys the calming process of making matcha. Honestly, I can’t really tell if this set of whisks is better or worse than others, and I don’t feel much difference between the two whisks. Compared to other whisk sets on the market, I think the price is a bit higher. I also measured both, and the white whisk is slightly heavier than the dark one. They both have around 75 outer tines as described. I’ve used them to make matcha, and they look really nice sitting on my counter.

Perfect whisks and beautiful

Got these beautiful whisks and they're really nice to use. I didn't bother counting the prongs, so not sure if it's 120 or just 100 tines, but they work well. It's cool having one of each color, and I think the dark bamboo looks especially awesome. They do a good job at making decent foam, which is what I was hoping for.Just follow the usual whisking rules: start by whisking vigorously in the bottom half of the liquid without scraping the bowl. Do that for about 20 to 30 seconds, then move to the top half of the liquid, slow down a bit into a W or M motion, and finish off by lifting to the top of the foam to break up the final big bubbles. These whisks are great for that.Overall, I'm happy with how they perform. Definitely a solid choice if you're looking to make some good matcha foam.

Not 100 tines and the dark bamboo is dyed.

This matcha set boasts that it features one hundred tine whisks. The labels on the containers say they are one hundred tine whisks. They are not. They have seventy six tines, which is a very low count found in low end matcha whisks. This does not seem accidental.Tine count is important as the higher the tine count the better the foam. A one hundred tine whisk is considered good, and if these were indeed a higher tine count this would be a decently priced set. However, as low tine count whisks can be found for a fraction of this price, this is not a good value at all.I was also disappointed that the dark whisk was artificially colored rather than natural dark bamboo. It actually looks nice, but I'd rather not make my matcha with a dyed whisk.

Excellent Bamboo Whisks

Great whisks! Beautiful craftsmanship. Most of the bamboo matcha whisks on the market right now are identical, and even come in the same packaging, so buy by price. Be aware that the tines will uncurl a bit with use, but that’s normal and a natural characteristic of bamboo. I don’t even bother with a ceramic whisk holder—I just use the whisk in a small mixing bowl, and leave it upside down on the counter to dry. Mixes in matcha powder very quickly, and makes a pretty froth.You don’t want to put these in the dishwasher, but they rinse completely clean easily.The dark whisk has a subtle toasty scent—I assume they’ve darkened the bamboo with either heat or some kind of varnish. It’s a stylish look, but I can’t tell a functional difference with the light whisks.
