I ordered this to use as an espresso weighing and timing scale. It works well.Responsive. There is no noticeable lag time when weighing. The scale keeps up with my shot as I'm pulling it which makes it very reliable for knowing when to stop my shots.No sounds. I actually appreciate that it does not beep or make any sound.Timer itself could be better. You click time to start the timer, click again to stop the time, and when you click it again time restarts. You can't stop and restart the timer so if that's important then don't get this scale. Also the timer stops itself after a few minutes so don't get it if you need to time something longer than 10 minutes.The weighing plate is bad. When I got the scale the plate was crooked. I had to hope it wouldnt break so I could twist the plate to straighten it out. The plate is plastic unlike the metal plate on most other scales. Mine already has a lot of small scratches and scuffs but all I'm weighing is a shot glass and a plastic coffee grounds catch cup. The scale is pretty much entirely plastic so it expect it to feel cheap.This scale was good for the price but is obviously not built to last.

Good until it wouldn’t work.
This scale worked well for 1.5 years. Then, the slightest touch turned it off, so if you tared something, such as an espresso porn filter, and then went to fill it with coffee, the scale would go off, you lose your tear and there’s no way to start over. I would’ve given five stars if I could have reached their customer service on their Amazon page and they corrected the issue, either with another scale or something else. Instead, I kept getting directed to “troubleshoot the problem” which was very useless. Not good.

Great little scale.
I really like this scale. The buttons have a good feel to them, are large and easy to push. The screen is bright and clear. It also fit great on my espresso machine, however I like it so much that I’ve actually started using it as my everyday kitchen scale, as it fits easily in the drawer with my other baking tools. However it is better suited for expresso so I will be looking for a larger model from this manufacturer.
