No More Mismatched Cups

I wanted a single matching set instead of a drawer full of random measuring cups and spoons, and this solved that. Everything is included, and it’s nice not having to hunt around for the right size anymore.Being stainless steel was a big reason I got them. They clean easily and don’t hold onto smells or stains. Nor does it release forever chemicals. I’ve been using them ever since they arrived and thankfully they’ve replaced every other measuring cup and spoon I had.

Ml Measurements Are Inaccurate, Make Sure To Use A Scale If Baking

I’m slowly replacing all of my old plastic cooking and baking utensils with all stainless ones. I picked up this set to knock out two birds with one stone by getting the measuring cups and measuring spoons replaced. I appreciate that this is a larger set that encompasses both instead of having to buy them separately. The measuring spoons have rounded edges on the handles which I prefer. The measuring cups handles are a bit more squared off making them less comfortable to hold. I do wish that these were a slightly heavier weight stainless, these feel thin and make me question their overall quality, especially since the listing does not state what grade of stainless steel these are made from.The biggest drawback for me on these is the measurement listed in ml. At first I thought it was super convenient until I did a quick google search and realized their conversion is inaccurate. Most of them are slightly off, but the 1 cup/250ml and 1/2 cup/125ml are off the most. I realized this because my plastic set has it listed as 237ml which is accurate; however, when I put them on the food scale the stainless set measured exactly what it is labeled as (even if incorrect) where my plastic set weighed less than it’s supposed to. Bottom line here, if you’re baking just resort to your food scale for measuring to get your exact weights so it doesn’t screw up your recipe.Regardless, these are a relatively nice set and I will use them for cooking where measurements are a little less strict, but when baking I’ll make sure I place them on the food scale to make sure my measurements are 100% accurate.

Much nicer than expected

In preparations for a stomach surgery I will be having soon, I needed some measuring cups and spoons for portion control and precise recipes. That's when I came across these.Picking them up because they looked like a full set of both, I figured it would save me the time and effort of ordering cups and spoons separately. I was right, of course.One worry was that they'd be flimsy. Thankfully that's not the case. They all feel fairly sturdy and like they will last quite some time in my humble little kitchen. So on top of everything else, that makes me happy.Definitely worth trying if you also need measuring cups and spoons.

Decent stainless steel measuring set with minor drawbacks

I picked these up after struggling with having only one set of measuring cups and spoons during holiday baking. Since I have a larger kitchen this year, I ended up baking much more than I did previously. That also meant a lot of stopping between steps to wash measuring cups and spoons, which took more time than I wanted to spend.The cups and spoons are made of sturdy stainless steel, with measurements etched into the handles. The markings are large enough to be easy to read, though they are not high contrast. The included leveler is a nice addition, as it is more precise than using a knife.The edges on the cups and spoons do not feel rounded, but they also do not feel sharp. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the scoop. The edges around the scoop feel a bit sharp, and the clip action is fairly tight, which makes it less comfortable to use.Overall, this is a decent set, but at $19.99, I consider it an average value. That is about what I paid for my existing set, which has fully rounded edges and heavier, more substantial stainless steel. If this set were a few dollars cheaper, my assessment of the value would likely be different.
