Great grinder for sausage and patties, just need a box for storage.
Very solid, strong and durable grinder. Connections are a bit rough around the casting edges, and the packaging could be quite improved. That being said, it is very easy to put together and use. The grinder assembly works quite well and makes excellent textured ground meat for patties and sausages. I've used twice now and both times the result was excellent. The small plastic rotating blade is quite heavy and solidly constructed as well. It is not quite as large as I was expecting, but handles half a pound at a time quite easily. For cleaning, the pieces come apart quite easily as well and I just soaked them briefly in extremely hot water and some good degreasing dish detergent before allowing to air dry. I also did use a bottle brush to reach the inside of the cavity of the device, which made cleaning very easy. For the price, I think it is a great option and would recommend for sure. I might suggest an additional purchase of a 6L size storage box to hold the pieces in a "kit" as the box it comes in doesn't have any structured 'holding slots' or anything of that nature. Like I said though, excellent price for what you get.
