    Great Meat Pounder That Can Be Used For Other Things

    Had this for more than year now. This is a solid one piece stainless steel meat pounder that has the right surface area to flatten my chicken breasts, and other proteins to a nice thickness that is not too thin where it breaks apart after pounding it out. But here's the crazy part- I use it for so many other things. Like smashing garlic (every other day), breaking crab/lobster claws, my husband uses it to break down ice, and I use it to put my whole chicken sitting up in the over when roasting it. Yes, it works really well as a stand to hold chicken when baking. I'm buying another one so I can roast two chickens sitting up in my oven with this. It's that sturdy and useful. Best thing is it's super easy to wash because it's all one piece with no small groves or places for raw juices to get stuck in. I just throw it in my top rack dishwasher and its sanitized. Such an awesome kitchen tool!
