I bought this for my daughter who makes beef jerky and it sliced it the right size. We tried making hamburger from steaks but we used the bigger cutter and it turned a little to chunky for use we will use the smaller cutter next time. We tried to grade cheese with it, it worked but nixed will time we use a colder cheese and go a little slower speed as it got a little sticky.
Slicer works well and is rock solid!

Its ok for what you pay. I bought to shave eye of round for Carnivore crisps and it wouldn't really shave them at first. Bent the backing plate out and that allowed for me to be able to get a much thinner and even slice. But its working.
Work perfect
It is very awkward to use. When trying to push a turkey breat through, you have to hold onto the meat, the sliding tray and the part that holds the item to the blade. VERY awkward.
