I've used it several times with great results. Used it on veal & beef so far and achieved the results I required. I have a fine dining restaurant background, but who has room, or need, for a restaurant tenderizer in their home. This is just what a home needs for the occasional use tenderizing tool and it fits nicely into a drawer.
works well, doesnt cause too much of a mess or anything. the handle makes it easy on the palm and fits well in my hand. pretty small overall for decent storage in a drawer. i still use a mallet a lot but this is nice to break out on some thick steaks
I use this on venison steak. I love how tender the toughest piece of meat gets when using this on it. I do both sides and different directions.
used once- so far so good. not sure how to clean it. this is what the product description says- 'Just soak this one piece with blades for few minutes in warm soapy water and wash it with the brush or simply put it in the dishwasher.'What brush? mine didn't come with a brush...???
