Probe doesn’t connect !!!
Wanting to give this a try because I need to cook individual beef fillets at different doneness . Looked at several wireless meat thermometer and decided on this partly because it’s the most affordable. Other meat thermometer reviews are messed up. You look at one type of meat thermometer and the reviews are about another !!!!!! I don’t understand how people post reviews on the wrong item ???? Anyways … I guess I should have read more reviews for this one. This thermometer seems to have the same problem which is the probes doesn’t CONNECT !!!! I had one probe that didn’t connect. I guess i still have better luck than others. Anyways, I tried charging fully, wiping the probe and turning on and off. Didn’t work. Decided not to waste time and just returned this.

Great thermometers
I've been looking at wireless meat probes for sometime. They connected easily to my phone and the app is easy to use. The charging case is sturdy. The probes themselves are easy to clean. They seem to be accurate when in use as the temperatures compare to my other meat thermometer within a degree or 2. Price wise they are more affordable than the meater.

If you get a fully functioning unit your good to go, if not you're stuck with what you got.
I bought this for my smoker since I was doing multiple items all requiring different finish times based on temperature. Unfortunately, right out of the box one of the probes was dead and would not connect or even work. I have tried to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement probe with no luck. The other three probes worked well with some minor temperature variation <5 degree. Like the product, wish I had a 100% use of the product instead of only 75% functionality since I paid for 100% of the product. After reading a number of reviews it seems quality control is not the manufacturers strong suit. Followed by a lack of customer service. If you get a fully functional unit, then you are golden and they work phenomenally. But if you get a semi functional unit , you're just kind of left with what you got and no recourse.

Probes have to go in all the way
This is actually a pretty nice thermometer set. The only problem I’ve ran into is the Prue has to be buried so far into the meat or whatever is being cooked because it has multiple sensors and there is a line on them and the thermometer does actually have to be inserted up to that line Other than that oh and they disconnect if I don’t put the base out on the grill and then watch it over Wi-Fi through my phone

Cool idea that only works sometimes
I was excited to try these wireless meat probes since I grill and smoke a lot, and the idea of tracking everything on my phone sounded super handy. The setup was quick and the app is simple to understand. When everything connects like it should, the temperatures look accurate compared to my regular thermometer, so no issues there.The problem is the consistency. Some sessions are smooth and the probes stay connected the whole time. Other times one or more of them drop out and refuse to reconnect until I reset the whole thing. It is a bit frustrating when you are in the middle of cooking something you do not want to mess up.Build quality seems fine and they are easy to clean. The charging case feels solid and holds everything neatly. If the connectivity was more reliable I would be a big fan. As is, I will probably still use them for long smokes, but for quick cooks I reach for a simple thermometer to avoid the fuss.Good idea, decent performance, but could use better quality control.

I really like this set, but....
I really wanted to give this set of probes five stars because its setup and functionality impresses me.But I can't.I could go into the cleverness of their design or the simple intuitive app or the good price or their very good comparative temperature accuracy or the usefulness and setup of the small information screen or the clever small probe ID clips. All good. All five stars.Then there's what's okay, but not great. The ambient temperature is not active below about 130 F. Above that it works fine. It just acts like no report even though internal temperature reporting is working at all temperatures. No real problem.The listing states internal temperature max is 185 F. It actually is 212 F.The connectivity seems to be dependent easily upon what the probe is surrounded by as well as distance. For instance, I placed the probes in a pot of water and began heating them. The temperature reporting was consistant and accurate with the base within several feet. Over ten feet away or so probes dropped conection. With no obstacles to the base, connectivity was okay at 35 feet or so which was as far as I tested.The 6.0 mm probes are not 30 % thinner as stated in listing. I have several wifi probes and a 6.0 mm diameter is most common.The base is not magnetic. Won't hang on your refrigerator or grill.Given the above plusses and minuses, I still call this a solid keeper.Battery life was good at only half discharge after about 12 hours running time.Now the problem:It arrived with probe slot 4 non-functional. Any probe in that slot would not connect. Everything I tried to correct it did no good. Then two days later it began to function. Then all connections were at times okay and at times probes would randomly fail to initialize on power up. Once connected they did not seem to randomly fail. Doing a factory reset finally corrected the problem and they all have been working fine. Reset is quick and easy from the small screen.Possibe random power up connection failures lower things to four stars. For me however, this is still a real keeper that needs some improvement. Especially at the price point and generally good performance.

Awful product. Cheap is cheap
This is the worst product I think I bought on Amazon ever and I should have known . First it took forever to sync . Second if you have a 5g router it won’t work . Third 1/2 the probes won’t connect to the blue tooth . This is an instant return . I should have been more careful because of the price . Cheap is cheap but I took a shot this time . Never again . Don’t waste your time folks
