Accurate description, with all the sides being nicely beveled - no warping/bending in the body of the spatula, very level, manufactured great - not too heavy; not too light. Just perfect for any flipping occasion in the kitchen. Handle is very nice and commercial feeling. Very easy to hand clean, quickly under the sink. I’ve bought several sets of inexpensive griddle accessories here on Amazon and at Walmart. Frankly, I should just have spent the money and bought these first.The cheaper sets had too much flex, thinner metal, and deformed easily, making working on the griddle harder than it needed to be. They didn’t bend and flex, fighting me as I worked to stir-fry four pounds of meat and five pounds of vegetables. The edges are crisp, the metal thick and sturdy.While some folks say you should hand-wash these, I figured if they are used in restaurants (and I found them at restaurant supply stores online), those folks aren’t handwashing these. So, I’ve been throwing these in the dishwasher and after several washings, there is no sign of rust or oxidation.Side-by-side with the inexpensive tools I bought, the Mercer tools are sturdier and the metal is obviously shinier, higher quality, smoother, and polished to a sleek finish. The handles are comfortable and seem as if they will last forever.My only regret is that I wish I had bought these first. The price is high, but this is sort of like buying a high end knife. It's huge, very strong, and has the strength to press without deforming or "banana-ing" the flat part. Should have it for life.
Loving this spatula so far. It holds up well in the dishwasher and works great for burgers too.
Product appears to be well made and sturdy, but arrives with some slight damage, probably due to the poor packaging for shipping. The corners of the blade are slightly damaged, so I will have to grind them down a bit before I use it, or it will gouge my work-surfaces.
Hands down, best spatula I've ever used. Using it for over 3 years and still feels like its new. Incredibly sturdy and strong with a thin edge that makes it super easy to slide it under food like eggs and meats while cooking. 10 outa 10, would recommend!
This spatula is AWESOME! We have had for 10 years, and we use it all the time. It is great to get food that has stuck, is super durable and we recommend for anyone who cooks meats, veggies, or bakes cookies or anything else you want to gently lift off a pan or baking sheet.
