I think the quality on the handle could of been better, it's plastic. I originally bought it because I had a few fruit flies in my house and thought this would help, they go right through it. It will help for larger flies. Its very light and looks not bad.

Mesh fabric doesn’t keep fruit flies out.

Doesn’t work as described as it fails to keep fruit flies out. The tiny fruit flies manage to get in through the mesh as the holes are not tiny enough to keep them out. I returned because that was the main purpose for buying this mesh basket.
