Great crock pot!

What a gorgeous, high quality, well made crock pot! It came well and securely packaged, with a felt inner liner to protect the finish against scratches while being stored. The lid came already assembled and ready to go. There were also two removable rubber sleeves for the handles, to protect against hot metal. I'm not sure why they are removable. Often, that's so the pot can go directly into the oven without melting the handles off, but the lid has a lot of rubber pieces and nothing in the info that came with it says it can be heated in such a way. Even though it's thick metal and well made, I would only ever use this on the stove top. Also, it says "dishwasher safe" but recommends hand washing and I'll just say - anything with a ceramic coating, absolutely hand wash and dry it and only ever use soft, rubber or silicone implements inside. The potc itself is huge. You could easily fit a spiral ham or a whole large chicken inside. I feed my dog rotisserie chicken almost daily, and I reserve the carcasses to make bone broth soup for her, too (I like for nothing to go to waste). This pot is perfect in that I could easily slow-cook 3-4 carcasses at one time, with room left to spare. It is definitely high quality and well made, and is a good value for the price. I like the look of it, and the feel of the pot, too. The ceramic coating is very smooth and thick enough to last a long time. The bottom heats evenly and resists sticking and burning, and the pot is easy to clean. I will be using this crock pot often.

Beautiful and spacious

This ceramic stock pot is beautiful. The size is perfect for making soups, stews, chili, pasta, bone broth, and larger meals for the family. The cream color is beautiful and looks very clean and high end on the stovetop. The ceramic nonstick coating works extremely well. Food releases easily, even when simmering thicker soups or sauces, and cleanup is quick with just warm water and a sponge. It heats evenly on my induction cooktop with no hot spots, which makes cooking much easier and more consistent. One thing to note is that the pot itself does get hot during cooking, which is expected with a quality heavy pot. However, it comes with silicone handle covers and a pot holder, which is a very thoughtful addition. The silicone handles do not heat up and provide a secure, comfortable grip when moving the pot. Just make sure to remove the silicone covers after cooking and don’t leave them on while the pot is actively in use on the stove. The lid fits well and helps retain heat and moisture while cooking. Overall, the pot feels sturdy and well made without being overly heavy or awkward to handle. Between the performance, safety features, and attractive design, this pot offers excellent value. If you’re looking for a large, reliable, nonstick stock pot that works well on induction and looks great in the kitchen, this one is definitely worth it.

Not bad!

Well, it's large, and the ceramic coating looks like it's good quality. It is an aluminum material underneath, though... so using will take a lot of care to ensure that doesn't leach into the food (i.e., being careful not to scratch/chip the coating). Cooks food evenly and seemingly heats up quickly. The size is great for cooking single-pot dishes or pasta, really whatever you want. You don't need high heat, either. So, I mean it's a pretty good pot and I do love the size, but, not a fan of the aluminum materials underneath.

Lightweight and huge

My wife does most of the cooking, whereas I do most of the post-meal cleaning up, and we absolutely love this stock pot. I was a little concerned when it arrived since I've been conditioned that weight = quality when it comes to cookware, and this pot is exceptionally light. It does a great job of heating up evenly and has been her go-to pot since it arrived. The capacity really has me stumped since it seems to be bigger on the inside. We have prepared pasta in it twice so far, and the food only appears to cover the bottom of the pot but it's more than enough to feed a family of four. The non-stick coating does exactly as advertised and even Alfredo sauce cleans up quickly and easily. The pot also came with some silicone pot holders that have been very handy. So far, the pot has been well worth the advertised cost of $50 and we're very happy with it.

Great (big) pot for $40?! Yes!

Current price: $49.99 not including a $10 off couponThis is a nice pot. It looks nice, isn't too heavy but definitely isn't cheap feeling, the lid fits nicely (has a silicone rim around it that you must make sure gets cleaned after each use to avoid buildup), and MICHAELANGELO is one of the better brands on Amazon. The inside is ceramic and cleans nicely. I made chili in it (hello harsh red sauce) but it cleaned just like new. The instructions advise hand washing and say that while it can go in the dishwasher it could shorten the life of the pot. I noticed it heated up really fast (electric range), which was nice. The price? $40 is good for a pot this size (it is quite large) for my area but for me, I probably wouldnt pay $50 for a pot that isnt tough enough to be in the dishwasher every time.
