Michaelangelo Granite saucepan set with lids

Excellent set of saucepans. The price was reasonable and I am very pleased with this purchase. They have a nice weight to them, they heat up very nice, and clean up is easy. The glass lids all have vents for steam. The gray color is very nice. Thank you!

Great product

Love these pans. I use metal and silicone utensils on it with no issues. Heat distribution is great. I wish they had one smaller pan for use.

Great sauce pan except for the lid

Great non stick sauce pan and it cooked food very fast and easy clean up. I did not give it 5 stars because the lid is very poorly made. And what I mean is this, the top of the lid where u would handle it and pick it up is completely metal and when hot it is impossible to pick up without oven mitts because it gets extremely hot. Why would they ever make a lid like this, makes no sense. Like i said the saucepan itself is great but the lid is not.

Lovely, comfortable size, good feel

What a handsome pan! I've used this now regularly nearly every day for nearly a year and just bought the lighter grey-colored version of this pan (which is a charcoal grey color). I originally bought it because I was attracted to the charcoal gray spatter-pattern. I bought the 3-quart and it does a good job and also just bought the grey colored 2-quart.Only one complaint ... I rubbed one part a little harder than usual with a scrubbie because I thought I saw a black speck and it did leave a bit of a scratch. I was surprised, because I didn't use steel wool, it was just a plain old scrubbie. I guess I'll just treat it less roughly from now on. Despite that, I love all the pans. They aren't too heavy and feel great and comfortable while cooking. The 3 quarts make enough for a couple of meals.Food doesn't stick at all to these pans In fact, the new light-grey 3-quart I just bought, the first time I used it I made a stew and left it in the pot with the lid on for 10 minutes -- came back to check on it and gave it a few stirs and then left it for what was going to be another 10 minutes but turned out to be about 20 minutes. When I returned, I was sure I was going to find the food stuck to the pan, but NO ... it was all perfectly cooked, nothing stuck at all! I was pleasantly surprised and the meal tasted great.I love these pans so much that I also bought the large 11-inch wok! But once it arrived and I took it out of the box, didn't even remove the packaging because I found it too heavy and large and could see that handling it would be a problem for me. So back in the box it went and I'm returning it. I loved the look of it but wish they made a smaller, less heavy version. Maybe there will be one at some point??!!But I love these pans and will keep buying them -- but at least the first one, the charcoal-grey one, has served me well for nearly everyday use for almost a year so I expect it will be with me for a while. So glad, because I love it!

Great Pot for Cooking Your Basics

I've had this 3qt pot for about a month and have been pleased. It's sturdy and heats and cooks evenly. It has some weight to it but not excessively heavy. Overall, I'm very satisfied with it.I was concerned as others mentioned instructions stating not to use on a high setting, but it has not been an issue. However, I've used it on high only long enough to bring water to a boil then reduce the heat.I've made tea, macaroni and cooked vegetables with an issue only 1 time. The knob on the lid was quite hot in a single instance. Every other use, the lid and handle were both cool enough to not need an oven mitt. I'm not sure if I left it on the eye longer than the other times when that happened. Maybe that is why it recommends not using on high??Other thoughts on the low heat suggestion may be that this would not be ideal for candy making. My use was on an electric stove, so maybe the direct flame of gas may be another potential issue. That seems illogical, but based on my use, I can't think of any other reasons the heat setting would be an issue unless you need to boil something for an extended period of time. The picture I included is just to demonstrate the difference between the size of a 2qt pot I intended to replace and the 3qt pot I accidentally ordered. I don't usually measure when I cook, so I overestimated my need. I thought this may help someone else who is clueless with actual size needed. 😁The 3qt would likely hold a large bag of frozen vegetables. I'm ordering the 2qt now since that's better suited for everyday use.
