Impressively fast, easy to clean.
With all the holiday cooking recently, I've found some pretty good use for this nifty little guy. I've found myself with every burner on the stove occupied more than a few times, but needing some small quantity of vegetables cooked through a little better than what typical microwaving can do, and it turns out that steam was the answer. Perfectly cooked broccoli and brussels sprouts, even though it's a small quantity, in minutes. Takes maybe two or three tablespoons of water at most.I've also used it to cook frozen soup dumplings and potstickers, again, in relatively small amounts (12 soup dumplings, 6 potstickers), but it's so fast it doesn't matter. Much easier to make a quick snack or side dish with this, than to pull out a stock pot and steamer basket and bring it to a boil.I love that the entire thing is silicone. The pot, the lid, the handle, are all firm but flexible silicone, making them incredibly easy to wash. So far, I haven't noticed any clinging smells or staining, and it's survived about five trips through the dishwasher so far (top rack) with no warping or damage.

Super nice bowl
This silicone steamer bowl is great for quick meals and side dishes. It’s made of a really thick silicone material and seems to be built to last. The bow is perfect size for feeding one or two people. There is a tray that goes into the bowl to keep the food out of the water. The lid is silicone as well. Everybody with a microwave oven should get one of these. You can use this cooker so many ways on so many foods. It's made with good quality BPA-free silicone. The lid and the steamer tray fit well with the pot. We have cooked rice in it and it came out just right, and worked well. It was easy to clean afterward with no stickiness from the rice. At 1.2 L, it has pretty good cooking capacity for most side dishes. It's so versatile. It's great for just heating things up, too.

Lovely and Works Well!
I love this microwave steamer pot!! It is very well made from quality silicone, and is a lovely shade of pink (strawberry milk). I can steam, and simply microwave, all kinds of foods in this adorable pot. Everything I've cooked in it has come out well. It comes nicely packaged (perfect for gift giving) with a helpful cooking time guide. This pot is not only safe in the microwave, it is dishwasher safe, as well. I have only washed it on the top dishwasher rack, and it comes out perfect. I ordered this to use in our RV, but I am going to have to order another one because I love using this in the house! You can also carry a side dish to a bbq or dinner in this lovely pot by keeping the lid on top after microwaving, and heading on out. This pot is definitely worth the listed price.
