Very good for quick meals!

This set is awesome! Very durable, not thin or flimsy and very easy to clean. Hand washing is probably the best but I read you can put them in the dishwasher. I used it for vegetables and they cooked evenly. This will be my new go to for quick meals.

A Better Way to Cook Ramen

I really like Ramen. It is good, well spiced and basically cheap soup. But normally it requires you to boil water and I hate boiling water. This cooker though is what you need to cook the ramen in the microwave. That makes the process fast and allows you to fix it the way you like. Clean up is super fast because the 3 pieces are plastic. The base is basically a small pot with a handle. Into that you put the strainer and break up your ramen brick into small pieces. Fill the pot with water to the line in the strainer, sprinkle the ramen spices into the pot, put the lid on and put it in the microwave. You can use the suggested cooking time but everyone has their own preference for pasta. So the first time you cook, set the timer to the low range and when it stops, take it out and taste the noodle. If it needs more cooking, cook it some more but keep track of the total time so that the next time you'll know the time you should use at the beginning. The ingenious part of this cooker is that the lid is actually a bowl so put the bowl on the table, take out the strainer of perfectly cooked noodles and put them into the bowl. Next, pour the spiced broth from the pan over the noodles and enjoy soup. But sometimes I want just the seasoned pasta and you can do that too. Just don't put the seasoning in the pot for cooking. Merely put the ramen in the strainer, add water and cook it. At the end, put the unseasoned noodles in the bowl or on a plate and sprinkle a SMALL amount of the seasoning over the ramen. I used the full packet but that was basically way too spicy. But now that I think about it, the ramen was distinctly spicy and I might do it again. For the rest of you normal people though, treat it as you do salt and pepper. Just season to taste. Since I got this cooker, my case of ramen packets has begun to disappear. I have a quick way to make soup or pasta and I don't have to stand around watching a pot boil. The microwave tells me it's done.

They add to the dishwasher but it’s worth it.

The set is easy to learn how to use and enjoy using. I got 2 because having only 1 can slow your meal prep for more than a couple of guests. They are durable and easy to clean, work well and are big enough to feed 2 or maybe 3 at once.

Honestly I haven't even used the bowl

Compact, light, easy to clean, not messy at all, it's very cute, only cooks one pack of ramen per use which is fine for me honestly. It's a perfect tool if you're short on time or have nothing else to cook with other than a microwave.I wouldn't recommend leaving it in the microwave for more than 5 minutes honestly, I usually microwave it for 3-4 minutes and let the food sit with the bowl on top for about a minute before trying to eat it. Any ingredients I add are either pre-cut or pre-cooked ahead of time, either over the weekend or early in the morning so that they just get heat up inside the bowl when I microwave them together. It's not super travel friendly if there's food being kept inside of it since there's no lid that locks into place so you can risk spilling food if you're bringing it with you to work or school. I'd recommend having any other ingredients pre-cooked and put inside other secure containers if you want to travel with it instead. That way you can just throw everything in and stick it in the microwave when it's time to eat.It comes with a bowl but I haven't put food in it because it's kind of small, I just eat straight out of the pot and strainer because I'm too lazy to rearrange the food after its been cooked. The utensils are short and cute, but might be a little difficult to use if you're not used to them, and they don't really fit into the rest of the product anywhere so they're difficult to carry around with you if you're bringing them with you to work. But it CAN fit pretty easily into a lunchbox...

Must have for Ramen lovers! Soo easy to use.

This thing is soo cool. I love that it's BPA free so I don't have to worry about microplastics leaching into my kids ramen. The built in colander is nice to make a drier ramen if you don't like the soup version and it's held up soo well after its many uses over the last 10 or so months. Soo nice that my teenager doesn't need me to make her ramen anymore!

Goof for Mac and cheese

I bought it because I saw an ad in which it was used to make Mac and cheese for one. I had to adjust the proportions and time given, but ultimately it was very good and worked very well. I’ll continue to use it.

Cute! Works well, though no easy way to bring the utensils along.

It's adorable!I used a ramen for this that had long straight dried noodles that wouldn't fit in the basket as is - so I broke them in half and went from there. Filled water up to the 'ridge' on the inside and microwaved for 4 minutes. The ramen I used is also not exactly designed to be microwaved - but that's also entirely why I wanted to try that specific one.Anyway - 4 minutes left perfectly normal noodles and hot water. I added in my flavoring and I like my noodles a little softer - so popped it back in for another 30 seconds.Like others, I did not use the bowl. The amount of water I added and noodles - I honestly don't think it'd FIT. (But I could have added too MUCH water.) But it did make a nice cover, so I could pop the bowl on top to help it stay hot if I had to walk away for a second (which is exactly what I'm doing as I type this)I didn't particularly see the point of the draining basket if using this for ramen - but just found a fantastic use. Raising it up to get all the noodles that stay at the bottom and are hard to find! Haha!I did use both the chopsticks and the fork. I feel the Chopsticks might be a bit short, so maybe not suited for larger hands. The fork is just a fork.Very nice overall! I've been hankering ramen at work but didn't have any way to cook noodles. I just found my new favorite work container :)
