Great Cover, High Quality
Glad I chose this l cover, as it checks all the boxes.Was more expensive than the others I was considering, but I liked that it has a glass top instead of plastic, and the rubber appeared to be higher quality. It's also a tad bigger than most, and it fits perfectly over my large plates. Had I gotten anything smaller, it likely wouldn't be big enough for some dishes. The rubber is also very high quality, and can fold in one level smaller, which is great for small plates.I used to cover food in microwave with another plate, so it wouldn't splatter, but this makes it so much easier. It's never hot to the touch, and it's easy to clean. I can also keep food on the counter warm with this cover.Don't think I would have been as satisfied with a cheaper cover. Worth the money.

Robust but not very practical
Very sturdy cover, but a bit too bulky for a day to day use. Retains a lot of moisture inside after warming a meal, forcing to take it out of the microwave to let it dry. Should have more vents.

Awkward and fiddly
I’ve had this shield for a couple of months. It works fine, however; though my spouse and I both like the fact it’s glass and silicone, thus avoiding plastics with our food, one of us hates it and rarely uses it because it’s so bulky and fiddly. It’s very tall. I keep it collapsed one level to make it more manageable. Also, ordering the same diameter as the rotating glass plate in the microwave has caused problems with rotation on occasion. I wish I would have ordered one size diameter smaller. If you don’t take your reheated food out immediately, the cooling shield can form enough suction to lift the glass microwave rotation plate. Be careful when lifting to avoid spills and burns. All in all, I’d choose something else but since I paid a lot, I’m trying to make it work.
