So, I usually buy Oneida, but the stuff I got did not thrill me. I decided to try these, and I’m so glad I did. Weight and balance are nice. One thing you don’t notice until after you buy flatware, is that it might not actually be three-dimensional. The Oneida stuff was literally stamped, so you had a negative image That was concave on the back of some of the pieces. Everything with the knives.These are truly three-dimensional, and feel fantastic in your hand. Finish is thick and rich. Sometimes the designers will throw in some weird twist like a strange curve in the knife blade, or Some weird contour. These are perfectly normal looking. I’m a guy who lives alone, and these fit the bill perfectly. I like things to be well-made, simple, elegant and hopefully not too expensive. These fit the bill very nicely.
