It's a TURNING Peel
If used properly this is a very nice peel for turning pizzas once in the oven. The smaller size allows for larger turns of the pizza but the very long handle requires you to really work to get the arc made! Goes together quite easily and has a strap for hanging which is the best way to store it. I have the 16" Ooni and a twelve inch pie works great in there; you have to turn a lot to get an even bake and this peel does the job. I do wish there were a way to remove the first wood handle section if you wanted a shorter handle but keep the hanging strap. You'll still need a wood peel to get the pie into the oven but this will finish the job.

A good turning peel
A good turning peel but not perfect. First, I notice that some feel this is a launching peel that is much different from a turning peel. This peel is meant to turn to the pizza after it has been placed in the pizza oven with a launching peel.It works well for turning the pizza but the handle is a little long for most home based pizza ovens. You can leave the end piece off to make the size more practical but that makes the peel unfinished looking.

Love it!
I should preface that we use this for camping! This had been an excellent addition to our camp out cook utensils. It comes in three pieces, the head is secured with nuts and bolts, feels quite secure. The handle itself is two pieces attached with wood screws, which gives one the opportunity to have a shortened version. Also has a small lanyard on the bottom end. After a few uses it does show some scorch marks from flame, but hasn't damaged the surface coating at all. It's lightweight enough to stow in a pack, or belt if need be.The price is fair, for the construction and solid wood handles.I would say at this point the durability is more than enough for what we're using it for, which is not It's intended purpose per se.Would suggest using some linseed oil on the handle sections!

Good quality, impractical handle size
This pizza peel is very nice quality. The metal paddle and the wood handle are solidly built, and it’s easy to assemble. The handle is in sections, so it would make sense for it to be optional to have a smaller handle and a larger option, but the sections don’t work that way, so you really either need to have a longer handle or the handle is incomplete. That said, it works well and is pretty nice for the price, so overall, a good pizza peel.

A solid peel for smaller pizzas
I’ve been using this pizza peel for a little while now, and overall I’m pretty happy with it. When I put it together, it was easy enough to assemble, but since it uses screws I can’t take it apart again for storage. At about 4 feet long when assembled, it’s not something I can just tuck away in a drawer, so I had to hang it on a wall hook, but it looks quite nice and is a bit of a statement piece. The surface is supposed to be nonstick, and while that helps I still need to use a little flour or cornmeal to keep the dough from sticking. The paddle itself is small, and thus can only be used for smaller pizzas. That said, it actually works out well for those small outdoor pizza ovens. The long handle keeps me far enough away from the heat, which makes it a lot easier (and safer) to use.

Unsafe Design with Exposed Hardware—Not Food-Safe
I was excited to try the Mimiuo 8″ metal pizza turning peel, but the exposed bolt and nut that secure the wooden handle to the aluminum paddle immediately raised red flags. The metal hardware sits directly in the food-contact zone, making it impossible to fully clean around or beneath the bolt—and that’s a serious food-safety concern.Beyond hygiene issues, the assembly feels flimsy: the single bolt loosens after minimal use, causing the paddle to wobble during every slide under a pizza. The wooden handle also shows signs of splitting around the bolt hole, suggesting the design puts too much stress on one small contact point. With safer, fully encapsulated handle designs available, this peel’s exposed nuts and poor construction make it hard to recommend. It’s unsafe for food prep and won’t stand up to regular use—best to look elsewhere.

It's an O.K. pizza peel that works fine. It has room for improvement
I received this pizza peel which is made of wood and aluminum, and it feels great in hand. The long handle keeps you a safe distance from the hot pizza oven. However, the metal parts are quite thin, which is nice to slide under the pizza dough in the oven, but leads to durability concerns. When it was being put together it did bend, but was easily reshaped back to its original form. I didn't care for the bolts that would get in the way of a larger pie, which will also make cleaning more difficult.
