I really like this little scale, even though I don't use it for coffee. It is small and easy to store, but also looks good when left out on the counter. It does everything my larger scale does and is easy to use. It also seems to be pretty accurate, as it gives me the same numbers as my other scale.
I really dislike the controls on this scale. You have to hold down the tare button to switch between grams, ounces etc and it is almost impossible not to tare out your weight doing it. It is so frustrating.
I really like this scale. It’s pretty accurate, about 0.1g plus minus for accuracy. There’s some delay on the screen updating sometimes for me. And I wish the rubberized surface was actually attached to the scale. Big plus is the timer function - super helpful in timing my espresso pulls. I don’t understand that AI feature though even after reading about it.Overall I recommend for the coffee hobbiest. It works well and is compact enough to fit under an espresso machine or grinder.
Update: The Seller reached out to me and provided instruction how to turn off the beeping! Upon powering on the scale, you will see "HI---", quickly long press the "T" button until the sound turns off. Now the scale is perfect for me.Original review: I compared the measurements of the same amount of coffee beans with another scale. There was .1 gram difference. I like that this is very thin to fit underneath the portafilter with a mug. I also like that this is rechargeable because I had a situation while traveling with my old scale when the batteries went dead. It was an inconvenient at that time to go out to buy batteries. The only thing I DO NOT LIKE is the LOUD BEEPING. I haven’t found a way to turn it down or off. If you live with a cranky morning person, you do not need a scale that beeps at every touch.
I had initially gotten this to take up to my etsy shop room so that I could use it to weigh small packages, but once it arrived, my husband promptly stole it from me to replace his coffee scale.It works great! It weighs accurately and quickly, which is great for when he's doing his pour overs. It's also nice that it is rechargeable, so we don't have to keep it plugged in all the time. It's also smaller that his old scale, so it saves a lot of space for us. Overall, I'd highly recommend this little scale!
This kitchen weighing scale is so useful for measuring food, coffee, and ingredients when cooking. It saves me the hassle of having to take out my measuring cups when trying to figure out exactly how many grams or ounces of ingredients I need. I also found this to be very accurate when comparing it to my measuring cups. I love how easy it is to read the bright LED screen and the tare function is great for putting a cup or bowl on top whenever trying to get a measurement of the ingredients, food, or coffee itself. I also like the built-in battery with the included charging cable so I don't have to worry about replacing batteries in this scale. Overall this is a great kitchen weighing scale that is compact and very easy to use.
Works perfectly and fits under my espresso maker unlike most scales. Would recommend.
