This scale is wonderful for the coffee connoisseur in your life.Weight is spot on to .1g.The timer counts up.The ratio is probably my favorite feature.The only problem I have experienced is I stir the coffee grounds and while doing so the timer stops and weight stops (the auto ratio process stops). I have to watch it close to start the process back up.I actually own two now and it goes on my list of must haves for brew pour overs.
Great quality, it’s weight precision it’s great, easy to celan, the battery life it’s god, the value for money it’s god as well, and it’s the perfect size compact and functional to many coffee preparation even Chemex 8 cup size.
First look seems ok but there is a disturbing rattle like something broke off internally.Update: Seller contacted me an offered a refund. Better, they asked for images of the issue, indicating they are actually interested in improving their product. Five stars specifically for that. After opening up the unit it turned out to be a spare screw loose. After removing that and cleaning up another couple minor issues I'm going to go ahead and keep it as-is.It does seem to be an accurate and repeatable way to measure my coffee doses, so it is doing its job just fine!

Pretty good for what it is, but I've stopped using it. I realized my coffee is not a chemistry experiment. Volumetric measurements are good enough. Now I just fill my grinder to approximately the same level every time, which works just as well for me. I do still use the silicone coaster that the scale comes with.
I love this for when I use my pour over coffee maker. It weighs your coffee grinds and then as you are adding your water, (you need to follow the setting directions) shows you the ratio of coffee/water for a perfect cup. I like the 16/1 ratio.
This scale has checked all the boxes for me. I love the easy to read multi-color display. The soft touch buttons have very quick response times and the scale is accurate. Also really enjoying the convenience of the coffee to water ratio display.Now, as someone else has pointed out it does have one little quirk but there is an easy workaround. If one jostles the brewer while timing is in progress, the scale will reset the time and weight. The obvious workaround is don't do that. However, there are certain brewing techniques - swirling, flipping the Hario Switch lever during the brew process - which require touching the brewer while timing is in progress. To avoid resetting the timer and weight when you do that, simply pause the timer by touching the left timer button, swirl or flip the lever on your brewer, then touch the timer button again to resume where you left off. Problem solved with a simple added step.
