I was excited for these mini silicone oven mitts, but they’re far too big for my hands. The short design is clever, but the oversized fit makes them clumsy to use. I can’t grip anything properly. They seem durable and heat resistant, but the size kills the practicality. I’m returning them and suggest checking the dimensions carefully before buying.
I like this style of mitt so much better than the glove-shaped ones. They just seem to work better with less mess. These have a hanging loop on each one, and go well over the wrist to give you maximum protection. The interior is soft, and the silicone ridges are good at helping you get a good grip. The only think I wish is that they would be non-absorbent. I suppose you'd have to get a set of silicone ones for that feature though. Regardless, they do what they say they're supposed to do.
Great mitts - heavy duty.
These little short of admits have become my favorite. I’ve always had the long oven mitts that go halfway up your arms thinking I needed them to protect my arms. However, these shorts are easy to slip on and on, and they’re very thick and cushioned. I really like how these work and they hold the heat off nicely. I do a lot of baking every week so this is very handy.
