Versatile Addition to any Kitchen!
I recently purchased the Misen 6 Quart Rondeau for the sole purpose of trying to minimize the amount of cookware I currently have in the house. The rondeau covers almost all of my cooking needs such as searing, roasting, frying, braising and boiling, and is even available for use in the oven!My first impression for the rondeau was how light it was in comparison to other cookware brands. The Misen rondeau boasts a 3mm thick pot with 5 layers of steel and aluminum which allowed to even cooking and searing for any meat that I was cooking. To my surprise, the side handles remained cool even when on the stove for an extended duration of time. What also impressed me was how easy it was to clean! All it took was some warm water, a little soap and it wiped clean!Overall the pan will continue to be of use in my household, as its versatility in cooking is quite unmatched, not to mention the quality of the pot itself and ease of care.

Well made. Heated quickly and evenly. I have a ceramic-top electric range and thought the range was subpar, but after using the Misen Rondeau, I realized my current cookware is not suitable for ceramic-top electric range use. I will be purchasing more Misen items.

Fantastic heat distribution
Our favorite pan for nearly a year now. It heats up extremely quickly and has excellent heat distribution. No warping or pitting. It is a fantastic size for all kinds of cooking including stir fry (lots of hot surface area!) I'll definitely be checking out their other cooking gear.

Love it.
This pan is sturdy. The heat distribution is spot on. Make sure you get your oil to the right temperature otherwise, whatever you’re cooking will stick. It cleans up fairly easy as long as you don’t burn something. (I did). I use a sponge made for cleaning stainless steel making the pan look like it has never been used.

Defective Right Out Of The Box
The Misen box was left on my driveway instead of my front gate like every other delivery. It was not in a secondary box just the Misen box itself. The box had obviously been opened prior to my delivery. Probably returned due to the same thing wrong with this expensive Rondeau pan. Look at the Image. The straightedge shows just how warped the bottom of the pan is? For $180.00 US this is so unacceptable??? I would have purchased another Demeyere but they don't make a 6 Qt Rondeau, Rather a sauté pan. Returning this of course.
