These Korean soup spoons are my favorite spoons. They are extremely well built, very strong, and they work extremely well as ice cream spoons. The shape of the spoon itself gives a smooth mouth feel. The handle is round and a little longer than a regular spoon. They also work well scooping out peanut butter in large jars. I've given them out as gifts, and everyone likes them.
These are very nice spoons! No sharp edges. My only complaint is they are a bit lighter than I was expecting. I like heavier spoons, but if you dislike heavy spoons these are definitely for you! The handle I think is hollow and that’s why they are a bit light. I really do like these though. They are also very sturdy and should be easily cleaned. They also came with this super cute cloth. I’m guessing for shining them? The cloth is in the photo.

They’re not as heavy as they look like they’d be, which bothers me a bit as I prefer heavy cutlery (get a workout while you eat, am I right?) but they’re nice and smooth and the length is fun.For these for my Mom. We watch Kdramas together and the first time she saw spoons like this, she freaked and thought they were so cool.We love using these with rice and soups.Not gonna lie, I have an eating disorder that makes it very hard to eat at times. When my mom sat some broth in front of me with this spoon, it’s dumb but the spoon made all the difference. I had myself a sad little Kdrama moment and it helped me to eat when I struggled otherwise lol.Wouldn’t recommend the spoons for ice cream or anything really hard or thick since the handle is hollow, but it’s great otherwise.
These spoons are great. The spoon part is a little smaller than a normal tablespoon (not measuring spoon), but it is larger than a normal tea spoon. Probably about right between them in size. But the real thing I wanted them for was the long handle. The handle is about an inch longer than a normal tablespoon. I use quart jars a lot for home canned peaches, apricots, etc. as well as juices and other drinks. A normal tablespoon handle barely comes to the top of a quart jar, and is very hard to stir with. The handles of these spoons stick out of a quart jar about an inch, which makes a marvelous stirring spoon. They are also very nice spoons, nice looking (round handle instead of the usual flat handle), sturdy, but not extremely heavy.
The spoon bowl for food is just the right size. The handle weight is perfect. The length is long enough to keep the spoon from falling into a soup or salad bowl. This is one of the best items I have ever purchased from Amazon Inc. This spoon is the right tool for most of your eating needs.
These are high quality. Smooth and well polished. What a nice surprise for the price especially!!
