I prefer this over the manufacturer attachment
The coating on the attachment I received with my mixer seems to be rubbing off. I have not noticed that on this one. It works just as well as the manufacturer part. I am very happy that now I don't have to worry about the coating coming off on my food. I feel like this is a much safer and cleaner alternative to using manufacturer part.

Blender metal attachment
I do a lot of baking, especially in the holiday season, so when I found this mental mixer attachment for my KitchenAid, I had to get it because my old one needed to badly be replaced. This attachment works better than the old one I had; it looks strong and sturdy (maybe I just wore out my old one) and hits even the bottom of the bowl, I know I will get lots of usage out of this one. I’m just happy I was able to find a replacement for my KitchenAid blender, I will be doing all my favorite recipes again

Much Better Than the Original Whisk for My KitchenAid Mixer
I’m really happy with this wire whip. It’s been a solid upgrade for my KitchenAid mixer. The original whisk was made of some metal that always left a weird metallic residue, especially after washing, which was annoying and didn’t feel great mixing into food. This one, though, is stainless steel, so there’s zero residue, and it cleans up super easily without any rusting or weird film. Performance-wise, it’s a great fit. It handles everything I've thrown at it so far, like whipped cream and heavier batters, and the design brings in a lot of air, so mixtures end up nice and fluffy with no effort. It snaps into the mixer securely and just feels sturdier overall. If you’re looking to replace a worn-out or annoying original whisk, this one’s been working perfectly for me and seems like it’s built to last. More than worth the cost in my opinion.

Not dishwasher safe
I bought this because the wire whip that comes with the Kitchenaid is not for the dishwasher, but it was a waste of money because it's just the same and not dishwasher safe.

better than the origional
This stainless steel wire attachment beats the original mixer attachment that came with the machine, hands down! Dishwasher safe and works as well at mixing as the original! If you use your Kitchen Aid as often as I do, this is a must have!

Fits and works well but is it really dishwasher safe?
I purchased this attachment for my 5-qt tilt-head KitchenAid mixer because I do a lot of baking and family members have put my original aluminum KitchenAid brand whisk attachment into the dishwasher by mistake too many times, making the base horribly oxidized so it leaves black residue all over my hands when I touch it. This product listing promised to be dishwasher safe, so I bought it, as well as a slightly more expensive KitchenAid brand stainless steel whisk. After using and washing them, I have my doubts that this whisk is truly dishwasher safe and am concerned that it may not hold up over time.In the first attached photo, this whisk is the one on the right and the KitchenAid brand stainless steel whisk attachment is on the left. In the second attached photo, this whisk is on the right, the KitchenAid stainless steel whisk is on the left, and my original (badly oxidized) KitchenAid aluminum whisk is in the center. Several differences are readily apparent. The KitchenAid brand attachments have a different shape, with a bend approximately in the center of the outer wires while this whisk has its bend much closer to the base. However, this whisk is slightly wider overall, which I think mostly compensates for the coverage from the center to the sides of the mixer bowl. The base is smaller in diameter on the KitchenAid brand whisks and the wires are angled downward more so than in this one. I've used all of these attachments and I find their performance in use to be comparable with no significant performance drawbacks noted in normal use. My greater concern is the washability. All of these attachments have been through the dishwasher. As you can see, that has ruined the original aluminum KitchenAid whisk, which is badly oxidized. The stainless steel KitchenAid whisk is still shiny and new looking with no impact from the dishwasher. This whisk, which started out looking shiny, has become darker and dull in the finish of its base. While it isn't leaving black residue on my hands (yet) like the aluminum whisk, it does concern me and makes me think this whisk may not be truly dishwasher safe. There is only an $8 difference between the price of this whisk and the KitchenAid brand one that is all stainless steel. For such a small difference in price, I'd rather buy the name brand and know that I have a fully stainless steel, fully dishwasher safe whisk and that's what I'd recommend to you.
