MIXLO HOME Bartender Kit wins the heart of this wanna-be mixologist.Key Features:- Sleek, modern looking box that makes for an elegant gift.- Solid bamboo wood stand - not at all rickety.- Black paint is consistent and smooth with a light texture of the wood grain.- Well crafted structure that fits each of the bar tools.- The set up is fairly intuitive (meaning it isn't difficult to figure out which tool to place in each opening).- The tools are aligned to the product photos - standard in size and construction.- Stainless steel is a decent quality (not premium level).- Integrated cutting board & salt rimmer has a handle to easily slide in and out.- Nice selection of recipe cards with many classic drinks.Most all of the essential tools needed to make a wide range of cocktails are included in this set. Some additional tools that would raise the quality of a bar set would be a citrus peeler, paring knife, small grater for spices, and a bar mat.I took away one star because the tools are not high grade. I consider each one to be good in design and function but not superior. Their description of "304 18/8" stainless steel reflects a decent metal that is food-safe, corrosion resistant, and durable, but not as impressive as "316" stainless steel. Good- yes. Premium- not in my opinion.For general bartending at home parties and social gatherings, this set will be a great asset and should meet one's needs. For serious mixology or professional bartending, I'm not sure this set will perform all requirements or withstand high-volume demand of use.Positive factors are - impressive span of tools, very attractive set up, broad range of recipes, and high standard of wood and metal construction. This is a terrific gift or addition to your own home bar. I consider the quality and value to be very good.
