The design is simple and straightforward - you just add your coffee grounds, pour in hot water, and let it brew for a few minutes. Then, press down on the plunger and voila! Perfectly brewed coffee.Another great feature of this French press is how easy it is to maintain. The stainless steel parts can be easily washed. I haven't experienced any rusting or discoloration with the steel parts, which is a huge plus.One thing that sets this French press apart from others I've used is how well it keeps the temperature of the coffee while it's brewing. Weak point with temperature sensor on top of plunger
I liked the idea of a stainless steel device that would last years. Glass breaks, plastic breaks down.What is...Good - Holds heat great, Stainless steel construction holds up really well, easy to clean, holds perfect amount of water.Bad - The temperature gage at the top broke off. I tried to epoxy it back once, trying a second time now.When I bought it I thought the temperature sensor was a good idea. I realize after that I really didn't need it. I preheat the container prior to making my coffee in it and I have had no problem with the coffee staying warm for as long as I want (60 minutes +). So a more rugged top to the plunger would be a welcome change from this, otherwise great French Press

Perfect size for my 16oz coffees
Smaller than it looks, but big enough for my use. The filters aren't stationary but move around, but the press works fine. The only thing i wish it had is volume marks on the inside. That's the only con.
