These are the best salt and pepper grinders! I found them at a beautiful resort I was staying in and I absolutely loved it. The grind perfectly and with ease. I was so happy that I was able to find them online and I use them all the time. Very nice looking and great quality. I’ve had them for several years and love them. Highly recommend.
EDIT: The seller sent me a replacement pair of grinders to make up for the broken "grinder action" on one of my grinders. All is good! They both work perfectly, and I would recommend not only these grinders but also the seller! The manufacturer/seller made good on their guarantee, and I now have an excellent pair of grinders in my kitchen.Very Happy Customer. Great customer service!I recently had a chance to add pepper and salt to my grinders. After attempting reassembly, I realized that the part that detaches from the glass vessel would not screw onto the glass vessel properly. While the 'action' of one of the grinders works in that it allows the 'grinder' portion to rotate independent of the collar that attaches to the glass, the other grinder is locked onto the collar that screws onto the glass vessel. Since the collar/threaded portion is locked onto the grinder, once attached to the glass vessel, the grinder itself will not rotate independent of the grinder.This all means that instead of being able to twist the grinder action, you either are tightening or loosening the whole assembly from the glass vessel that holds your peppercorns/salt. Hopefully this negative review will gain some attention from the manufacturer/seller, as my return window has closed before I had a chance to pick up some peppercorns and salt to give this pair a try.Overall the quality of the pieces doesn't look too bad: good enough to grind some pepper and salt for sure. It's just that my grinder piece is affixed to a distorted collar/threaded portion. Hopefully I can get a replacement grinder piece so that I can leave a real review! I'll be happy to edit my review once the seller/manufacturer contacts me to resolve this issue.
I purchased this about 14 months ago. After multiple times a day usage for 14 months, it just broke yesterday! For the price, I am definitely repurchasing! The grinder is very easy to refill as it does not have a post in the middle of the bottle requiring you to be extra careful putting peppercorns in there and not have them spill out everywhere. The grinding adjustment works well. From super super course, to very very fine! I am deducting one star due to the fact it only lasted about a year.
This little pepper grinder is quite functional. First of course is that it grinds just right size from peppercorns. Second it’s easy to twist and has a simple lid/top to keep elements out by grinding part. Third, and why I bought it, it opens to the top, rather than bottom like other grinders I have had. This means no more pieces of pepper on the table, counter or serving trays. Also this is not large and bulky. Doesn’t take up space on table or shelf. It’s made of glass so you can easily see how much is left. I’m happy that I finally found a grinder that meets my needs.
Very nice product. This will make a great gift. Just as described. The copper color is a nice touch, and size of the salt and pepper grinders as well.
This worked fine for awhile. Then in February 2026, just 18 months after purchase, it felt completely apart. The spring broke and the top of the grinder exploded all over my food and large chunks of pepper came flying out.
Hello, I have only had these for a day so far, so maybe I just need to get used to them. I find they are a bit too big for me and somewhat awkward to use. The covers fit snuggly and are a touch difficult to take off. I did not enjoy using them and found myself reaching for my old shakers. They are attractive to look at and hold much spice, and they won't have to be filled as often due to their size. The grinders work nicely so far. Included is a decent size brush to aid in cleaning. Also included is a "bonus bamboo spoon," which is ridiculous for them even to mention. It is not the same one shown in the advertisement. See the attached photo of the spoon that was included with these grinders. That is a dime next to it, folks! I marked them down due to their misleading advertisement. Thank you for reading.
