Easily best budget espresso grinder
The Mokkom 64mm grinder shares a lot of similarities with another slightly cheaper 64mm grinder. The other model may be more popular but I had a poor experience with it and it wouldn't grind fine enough for espresso unless you turned the dial passed 0. This indicates the other grinder had very poor alignment. The Mokkom 64 had no trouble doing espresso and has plenty of range for it. I find myself around 15-20 for espresso. Straight out of the box the alignment seemed quite good but since I like to tinker I shimmed them to slightly improve alignment. While doing this I managed to slightly shear some metal off the screw heads from using the wrong size alan key and their support was kind enough to send me replacement screws free of charge. The accessories included are very helpful for cleaning and maintaining the grinder, they include a single dose bellow which is great for home use and helps reduce retention. I did initially have an issue with ~0.5g retention but after using the grinder for a while it seems to have resolved itself. Currently I'm getting maybe 0.1g retention at most. They also include a perfectly sized brush for cleaning the exit chute which contains the ionizer, the part that reduces static, helping keep grounds fluffy and moving out the shoot nicely. Overall the grinder performs excellently, noise is very tolerable, retention is very low, and I'm able to make good espresso using it.

Highly recommended
Solid, well-built grinder with a premium stainless steel body. The 64mm flat burrs give a very consistent grind, and the 100 grind settings make it easy to use for espresso, drip, or French press. The LED display and timer are simple and accurate, and the anti-static feature helps keep things clean. Quiet, powerful, and performs like a much more expensive grinder. Highly recommended.

This is a GREAT coffee grinder, for the money. And pretty dang good, REGARDLESS of the price!
I will start with...this is a GREAT coffee grinder, for the money. It is not perfect, but perfection usually comes with a HIGH price tag. This grinder does NOT have one of those. The GOOD:It grinds coffee beans very well.It is well constructed. The metal body is definitely a plus.It is quiet. It has a large capacity bean bin.Cleanup is fairly easy.It came with MANY accessories. It is heavy enough to feel solid, without being a burden to move around. It has a relatively small countertop footprint.I don't know enough about Flat Burr grinders to know for CERTAIN, but I would say that the burrs are more than adequate. The LESS THAN GOOD (but not really BAD):There is no way to "zero" the grind head. The dial on the grind head is in a FIXED position. I am using a thin "spacer" (actually the handle of a measuring spoon,) to get it to NEAR zero, and then using the VERY delicate "touch" method, to find bottom. Hopefully you know what I am talking about here. The removable portafilter bracket is not very well thought out. But, it is also not really necessary. For what all you get, this may well be the best grinder deal, anywhere near this price, on Amazon.

Good budget grinder
I've had the grinder for roughly a month now. It's our first flat burr grinder, so I really can't compare it to other more expensive grinders. I was using a commercial grinder at a local store in order to get a fine enough grind for our espresso machine and this grinder works as good as that. May not have the longevity, but time will tell. The grinder has been used on a daily basis to grind drip coffee in the morning and espresso in the afternoon. It is not overly loud and it does a good job with the grind. Out of the box it was pretty correct and took minimal work to shim and align the burrs. It took me a while to find the espresso grind. 1-15 was much to fine, and settled on 23. Was surprised how far I had to go for a drip coffee. I settled on a coarser grind at 90, which really doesn't seem that coarse. The bellows that came with it is a reason why I chose this model and it is a must to get out the retainage. With the bellows, I'll get it near zero, without it, it's .5 to 1 gram of loss. I dose into a cup and have not tried the portafilter holder, but I wasn't really impressed by that. So far, we're happy with the choice of this grinder and I gave it 4 stars. It makes a consistent grind and our coffee tastes great.
