Watch the Heat

This item is very efficient with heat!! Start out lower to begin, as it uses less heat than usual. I used this on an electric cooktop to do a Huli Huli Hawaiian chicken recipe. First time using. Spattered! No fault of the grill. Yet produced a delicious meal after adjustment. As with any new purchase, it requires trial and error, but I am positive that I will find many uses (kabobs, eggplant, etc) and I would give this grill a high five for potential use. I would have appreciated an included pamphlet giving some guidance.ADD ON. After using this for some time I am so pleased with it as I am finding more and more ways to cook using it. Eggplant is wonderful! Kabobs, perfect. Once you understand the heat needs, fish is not overcooked but flaky. Marinated meat is done easily and cooks beautifully. I live alone in a third floor apartment and cannot have an outdoor grill. I continue to find new uses for this item. And yes, the cleanup is amazing!! After weeks of use I just had to add my satisfaction with this grill.

I rarely write reviews but I had to express how much I love this grill pan. I have had other non stick grill pans that eventually had to be tossed because everything stuck to them even though I used oil on them prior to each use. So far, this pan is doing its job really well. I highly recommend it!
