delicious, sophisticated baking for breads, cakes, muffins
This pan is a revelation. Being able to make whoopie pies or hamburger buns without them getting too big is so much fun. I love that you can bake with the lid on or off, so you get to choose the height of your bake.My whoopie pies came out really easily, and the pan cleaned up pretty easily. I like how the edges are straight, making each whoopie pie the same size, or each bun or muffin or small cake, whatever you make. It makes them look so professional and sophisticated.I love this pan and how versatile it is. I can’t wait to keep baking with it to see what all it can do.

Better Than Silicone
As an avid baker, any time I see a new pan, I jump at the chance. I have a couple silicone bun pans, that work perfectly fine, but now I'm reading that some of that silicone leaches into your food. Not enough to kill you (in the long run), but I would prefer not to ingest it anyway. With that being said, I am hoping that the non-stick coating is less toxic than the silicone that I have forsaken. The pan itself has some weight to it, so it feels sturdy. The size is appropriate for most buns. The non-stick coating makes it easy to clean. The cooking seems pretty even. I haven't tried making English muffins yet, so I can't attest to how well the lid works in a baking scenario. As a lid, it only works if what you made hasn't risen over the top lip. If they have risen too high, the lid will lop the tops off like a guillotine when you slide it on. The only downside that I see is that the corners of the lid can be a bit sharp.

Great size, multi-use non-stick pan with baking lid
I used this to make cupcakes in a larger size for my son’s birthday, so baked without the lid. I did brush with a little melted butter and everything slid right out of the pan. They were little mini cakes instead of small cupcakes, so he liked that.I am excited to use this for many other things, though — read some other reviews for some great ideas both with and without the lid.I am not a bread baker, but I could see this working great to make flat buns using the lid (even keto or low carb bread).I could see this being great for eggs to make for breakfast sandwiches to stay round in shape so it fits on a bun like an egg McMuffin.I could see this used as a mold to make hash brown nests using frozen hash browns mixed with a little egg to hold them in a nest shape.Would be great for making slider sized burgers. You can make individual sized portions of many baked goods, like bread pudding, cheesecakes, crusts for fruit tarts, etc.Cleans easily and is a nice weight — great overall pan useful for so many applications.

The wonderful world of versatile muffins pans!
I was recently introduced to muffin pans after only ever using cupcake pans my whole life! Now I can’t get enough of them! This is my second one. First I have to mention that this pan is gorgeous which of course has nothing to do with its function, but I’m a visual person so I love a pretty piece. These muffin pans have changed the way I bake and plan meals for my husband and me and now we have a variety of single serve selections in the freezer because there are so many meals and desserts that can be made in these. My sister will be coming to visit and she eats gluten free so I’m planning to use this pan to make her gluten free English muffins and desserts. I do hand wash my pan and dry it right away. I lightly oil the pan but have never had anything stick, even when I’ve forgotten the oil. For roughly $20 you just can’t go wrong with this versatile pan!

Muffin pan bakes well. I was impressed.
I baked large muffins in this today, and they came out great in my convection oven. They rose quickly, and baked evenly. I just greased the pan because I couldn't find any paper liners that were large enough. Now I can bake muffins at home, instead of buying the expensive ones in the store. It will be fun to experiment with this. I'd like to try making breakfast bowls in it. It's made from steel and it feels sturdy, like a good quality pan should. I haven't cleaned it yet, but I don't expect to have any problems. I am concerned about the nonstick coating. There's nothing in the description about PFOA, so that worries me some. I've changed out all of my cookware to PFOA free items. However, I don't intend to overheat this pan, so it should be safe. The muffins baked at 375 F for about 20 minutes. I give it 5 stars for quality material and cooking performance.
