Gets knives sharp!!!

I love this little grinder! I got tired of using a sharpening stone because it took so long and was tiring. I collect pocket knives and also throw knives, axes, and spikes. I didn't feel like spending a half hour to 45 mins sharpening my knives, axes, and spikes. So I decided to give this a try. Let me tell you it got my pocket knives as sharp as scalpels, and that's no joke. The stone part is perfect for sharpening my throwing spikes and axes. I've never seen my stuff so sharp in my life! I have a buddy who makes his own knives and has a setup like this, but wanted to charge me 10 bucks a knife to sharpen them. Glad I didn't fork over the money. If you are a knife collector and or throw knives and axes, this machine will be your best friend. Easy to assemble, and fast working. Love this thing!

Small form factor grinder set for occasional heavy maintenance.

Great small form factor grinder for reseting your wife's abused cutlery. Be sure to get extra fine grit sand belts to polish. Kit comes with enough to probably do basic maintenance on a small kitchen for a year or more. But if you want a razors edge and smooth your going to have to get more of the fine grit.Personally i need an extra grinding wheels as my wife like to hammer dents into her stuff. 1/32 dents up and down the edges. About 2 minutes per knife on the grinding wheel same for the course grit and 3 to 4 minutes on finer grit had the knife back to cutting cardboard without grabbing. As I need to only do this heavy maintenance 2 to4 times a year this little grinding set up is perfect.

I bought this because my kids love to knick up my kitchen knives and some of the Knicks are deep so this knocks down the heavy work then I'll swap to my wet stones to finish the sharpening. With this though u have to watch and not over heat the blades it will loss ur heat treatment
