Heart shaped cakes are always a good idea, but pans to bake them in can be just another 'thing' in the cabinet I inherited my mom's pair but they were made before straight edge pans were a thing for home bakers but now you can get that edge without adding another big set of pans. Not only does it roll up nicely, you can make round cakes too! I'm thinking of donating a set or two of mine and using this.
I will say that as you adjust it smaller you do lose a bit of the good heart shape, but for the larger sizes it works great!
