Charming, medium-small size, perfect for 5-6 scones or 3-4 muffins or pastries. Nice size for daily use. Cleans easily. Dome is a nice weight, with gentle handling. Its not overly-thin glass; sturdy enough, but not so thick that it makes the dome heavy. Now, if I can just figure out how to keep it stocked longer. lol
The wood is very nice and the glass lid is surprisingly light. The size is great. It holds about 20 mini scones or 8-10 average muffins. I would recommend it to my family and friends!
I was looking for something to place on our island that would hold freshly made pastries and this does the trick. It looks nice, is a good quality and its not too big.
I have a cake pedestal and needed to replace the dome that I recently broke. I was looking for a dome that was a little larger (8 3/4") and settled for this one as it was the only size that would fit without being too small. The outside diameter of the dome reads 8.2" in an answer somewhere. In English, that means 8 1/8". I measured it to be sure. The small size of the dome works for me if I put the tray onto the pedestal. No worries. The glass is lightweight and the handle is hollow so I needed to be sure it was really clean on the inside before I used it. I like the quality of the item, but believe the price is a little high for what I received. Please note: The wooden base may be much different than the photo since the product is made of natural wood. Mine is made of two very different pieces of wood. One side is dark like the photo. The other side is very light with a dark knot in it. No complaints, but it may be a concern if you expect the one you receive to look like the photo.
It’s a nice size for a cheese lover. My friend loves good cheeses and is very happy with the size and quality. Free of defects and it arrived safely intact. Excellent packaging prevented and breakage or damage.
Wood and glass were disappointing thin and light considering the price.
I love the design of the cloche, incorporating the wood and glass was a great idea.
